Thanks for the tip, waterproof panel board is what I need. 8 years on I hope your build went well

If you can't find the waterproof panel board you can go to Lowe's or Home Depot and get the 1/8 inch masonite. To make it waterproof spray it on both sides with a generous coat of clear enamel or clear coat. Spray it on after you have made your cut outs. It worked fine for me and a 4X8 foot sheet of masonite panel is dirt cheap.

You got it right. Every hour counts. It's fun to knock out small projects during the week.

Yeah me too. I have a slow recall if you haven't noticed. It's really frustrating. The info is all in there somewhere, just takes awhile to find it. Sometimes it's a few minutes, sometimes it's a few days.

Oh, it is WAY harder than you'd think. I set down the razor and picked up a utility knife. It took about 5 swipes giving it everything I had. It's tougher than cardboard, but not quite as tough as masonite.

I don't have a clue where to get it. I suspect you have a few auto upholstery shops there in cali. They should have it in stock. Most of them will sell it to you without any trouble. I've learned, if you want the right stuff, go to the guys who use it daily.

OK, that makes mroe sense, that it would be hard to cut through especially if it was waterproofed. I'll check around, cause I'll need new ones too some day.

Greg, do you think that material can be sourced in a builder suppy store? It must be pretty soft to cut through wiht a razor blade by hand.
