This was the frantic 911 call that was made by a young Ohio woman, Allyson Duckro (Doo-crow) as her ex-boyfriend, James Rayl (Rail) began to break into her house. Moments later, he was shot in the back with a gun held by Allyson’s father, Mitch Duckro.
But why did a relationship, which started like any typical teenage romance, end in a scene taken straight out off a horror movie? Hold tight because this case is twisted and morbid like no other.

I don't exactly blame him for shooting; but it's also always kinda whack to me how quickly some of you go to immediately shooting your problems. Fights and shit can take place without needing to be fatal, and the only reason why so many do end up fatal is because some shit ass with a gun thinks any aggression towards them is grounds to start blasting like a coward. Be a man and actually confront problems, in this case, what may have just wound up being a verbal confrontation. I say this as an avid gun owner and shooter since I was a little kid. I look like a girl, and I've got far bigger balls than people who tote around a gun 24/7 or immediately goes for a gun when physical confrontation seems possible.

You hear only the information the prosecutor wants you to hear, and just because a case is heard by a grand jury it doesn't mean the prosecutor is trying to bring charges against someone. More of a formality to prevent criticism because then you can point to a grand jury if there is disagreement why charges were not brought against someone. If a prosecutor actually wants someone charged and a grand jury refuses to indict, a prosecutor can just bring it to the next one until they indict

n IL you shoot a suspect IN your home and their unarmed guess who goes to prison? What sucks about this situation is that the dad still shot an unarmed person. I get it, the threat was there but there is also something called escalation of force. If someone decides to fist fight me and I whip out my Glock and shoot him three times, guess who going to prison? You guessed it, the person who escalated it to deadly force. I'm surprised the family did not call the police sooner when they realized he was following them and tell the ex-bf to leave and that the police were on their way. How the dad also got a gun before dialing 911 is crazy. I would've been on the phone with the police while getting the firearm from the bedroom. This event could have been avoided. I'm surprised the prosecutors didn't see it that way. The police asked him about whether or not he kept his firearm fully loaded all the time and if he really knew the dead suspect to which he said no, but the daughter said they dated on and off for a year and a half, you would think there was some interest in getting to know who was dating their daughter on and off you would think the dad would've known of him a little bit by that point . Thought it strange that she mentioned that she thought her dad was paranoid I would've never said that. I love the choice of words in the dad's interrogation "that's when the gun went off" rather than that's when I shot at him, which only looks like an unwillingness to take any accountability, the gun went off, he didn't pull the trigger vibes. Thank you. I hate that guy, or at least how he acted. Rendered no aid to the attacker yet hung around in field of fire should the attacker get up, talked crap to the defender, then spoke to the cops like he was an attentive eye-witness to events he did not see. Dude took nosy to the point of being a legal threat and obstacle to defense while doing nothing helpful. And he must be an elite trauma surgeon, declaring the attacker dead just by sight from 20' away. Unless Dad's pistol removed attacker's head, which seems unlikely.

I woke up on the ground due to the feeling of warm blood. Dripping down my face. I FINALLY make it inside the door to see my mother hanging off his back. She had him by the neck and was NOT letting go. I locked myself in my room. He didnt hurt my mother, he was locked on attackng me . IF only my dad cared enough to stand up for me. He was just sitting there rocking in his chair while my poor mother was being a bear. ❤😢 The kid with me was hit with a mason jar, 24 Staples for him. I almost lost my eye slight in my right eye. 12 Stitches in my cheek numerous more around my eye.... The fear of not feeling safe in your own home doesn't go away....
