Watch Byomkesh Bakshi's eighth episode 'Bhoot'. Byomkesh Bakshi is a fictional detective in Bengali literature created by Sharadindu Bandyopadhyay. He is one of the most successful and popular characters in Bengali literature.
Doordarshan now brings to you the entire series of this literary classic which was televised back in 1993 directed by the brilliant Basu Chatterjee. Actor Rajit Kapur played the role of Byomkesh Bakshi, for which he was highly praised. Ajit was played by K.K. Raina and Satyaboti was played by Sukanya Kulkarni who was the first actress to play the character!

@@madeyegaming7776 what a joke do you even know what is anime don't say it animation and India is really a great country but in terms of animation India is very low and I am not talking about that stupid indian animations like chotta Bheem or motu Patlu I am talking about japanese animation a.k.a anime which is not given by 90s person and that is way more better then Byomkesh Babu if you don't believe then just see Animes like death note, monster which have way more thrill then this and the only reason to came here is that I love detective stories and that's why I came here but if I say honestly then this type of intelligence is very normal in front of that great animes and I also knows many of here will disagree with me because many of there are from 90s but if you really want an honest answer then ask this questions to those who have watched animes they will also say same like me and I bet if the director and actors of these show will watch that great animes then they will also say that Animes are faaaaaaaaar more interesting and genius then this show And don't think that humara bachpan bekar ja Raha hai humara bachpan Tum 90s walo se 10000 times better hai 😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏😏

What an amazing days those was. They used to give a content in 90's until Ekta Kapoor comes. Thank God I enjoyed watching only doordarshan in my childhood. At least I've a memories of those days 🙏🏾 I still miss those days, I wish God grants me those days again 😭😭😭😭😭

I love this series. Basu Chatterjee through Rajit Kapoor gave life to Bandhopadhyay's character! Also, what I simply love about is the nativity and authenticity in dressing! How comfortable and apt they look in those muslin dhotis and kurtas and vests and shawls! Hats off to Basu Chatterjee!!

Andhera hone waala hai.. says new tenant so it should be around 6 and just then the mask man appears in the window but the tenant said before that it comes only after 9🤔. Feels nostalgic and peaceful after watching such serials.

I say this and will stand by my statement till death... Byomkesh Bakshi has the best title track and haunting background score on any Indian tv show ever ❗Trust me this serial would have been boring and uninteresting without the haunting background score ❗

I like byomkesh bakshi serial very much.especially I like byomkesh bakshi playing character Rajit kapur.earlier in 90's I saw the serial.but that time I was studying and missed serial. Now watching those episodes I really feel very happy for valuable GEMS OF LIFE.LONG LIVE RAJIT KAPUR AND TEAM. BRAVO

Nice story. I wish they could afford real tea instead of those empty cups. Rajat Kapoor just adds so much life to the character. Raina is fine too. What an era that must've been. When everything was pure and there was hardly any fakery!
