I love how everyone came in excepting her to be Dusa, but she's got more Hypnos in her. My opinion? She's got a bit of both, which fits a smug, and tragic, gremlin like her. Actually, I saw a comment where in theory she'd do the role of the Pact of Punishment, because Pandora's Box and all.

I think they'd go Jar mostly to throw people off, with some who don't know Pandora all that well thinking it as a box. Would be both a good check, and a mislead, making you think Dora isn't Pandora as that Jar isn't a Box @@Hamstir4

Melione being the goddess of ghosts makes me wonder if her affinity for the Crossroad’s Shades is more then just a nod to the original mythology. Maybe it’ll turn out she has some kind of power that will let her restore the memories Dora lost and make peace with them in death ?

Erin Yvette pretty good career. I know people nowadays may be familiar with her as ayre and arlecchino but back in the Telltale games day she's mostly well known to be the go-to actress for Telltale games but after the company shut down her career kind of died down and maybe a little bit overshadowed by other voice actors until armored Core 6 and Genshin impact

I think it's easy to make moody characters obnoxious, so it's very smart to make Dora gloomy while also adorable.

Right, and Moros is withholding this information too. A comment mentioned how the Box would serve as a Pact of Punishment, which makes total sense. Also good to see you again Anton.

The game is still in early access, so it's definitely possible that we could get a future side-quest chain involving her as the game is being updated.

so she is JUST pandora, early on with the opening jars and messing with mels thing , her general sense of curiosity about the things goin on with the world and what being alive feels like, her being one of the oldest there because pandora was the first woman, and also that comment where she wonders if she died to a cruel and inevitable fate is in reference to how she was created by the gods for the sole purpose of opening the jar that released all evil into the world (and also why moros cant really talk about her) , the fact that she is an artifical human could explain why shes different from the other shades and can speak.(the jar falling and spilling everything inside could be a super early and subtle nod to the myth of pandora but this a bit of a stretch)

It was so subtle, but her messing with Mel's jars related to her myth slipped passed me! And because she's a special case, makes sense her shade is regarded as unique. Many other details you pointed out such as Moros not specifying her background also hypes what we may all be thinking... Dora stands for aDORAble. (okay bye!)

Dora is making my game crash on a dialog about a favor, when milenoe asks dora to take care of the encampment. Don't know if it's about that locked heart/any quest for her. It crashes everytime I try to talk to her. Already gave her 3 nectar, can't progress her relationship further. Is this happening to anyone else?

Probably due to the fact that the game's still in early access and any other future interactions and quests involving her aren't available in the game yet.

@@anthonycezarino9656 I didn't mean to offend you, I'm just saying that because the game is still in early access there are certain things in the game that actually can't be done yet cause it doesn't currently exist in the most recent build of the game; Like only being able to give Dora 3 Nectars as of right now. Future interactions and quests involving Dora will probably become available later as the game continues to be updated.

@@twilighttiger2368 Yep, i get it. It was wrong of me making fun of your comment. Still, the issue is there is an interaction causing the game to crash. Other characters do make references to things that will be added later on and their dialog goes on. Not with Dora. Dora is making the game crash. My question was: is the game crashing for anyone else due to this dialog? If yes, then you are right, early access and stuff. If this is happening only to a few players, then is a bug/issue.

I haven't encountered new Dora interactions passed this video. It could be a bug that Supergiants would appreciate you sending, especially if you pinned down what's triggering the crash. I'll comment here if I experience the crash too.

It’s extremely likely, tho in Hades 1 Dusa’s past wasn’t played as significant. But Hades 2, perhaps things can go crazy?

Dora's normal voice and general use of words reminds me of Failsafe (specifically her more 'depressed' and sarcastic voice) from Destiny 2. I'd laugh if they two share a VA*, to be perfectly honest. *Just checked and NOPE. They do sound similar to me though.

Lots of VAs sound so similar to Hades 1 casts, so I don't blame you. I thought Arachne and Aphrodite were the same, but I too fell victim to the talent of VAs.

True, there were other players in her myth as I vaguely recall. We’ll see if supergiants keep these characters, because seems like some were written out, such as Erebus and Oceanus. (Maybe Helios too?)
