@@ssj-rose4572 that's illogical. Some people can surpass the original doer, especially objectively speaking since Dorota's vocals surpass the original singers in this song, although OF COURSE that doesn't mean the original is bad. Be more open minded

Why does she make me cry every time I hear this?? It's like she's singing from the depths of her soul! I wish she had sung the entire song, like here, at her audition. I realize they probably have a 2 minute time limit, but I don't think there would have been any complaining after hearing this! Absolutely brilliant, love it!

When I first heard this song on Bagdad Cafe, I thought no one could do it better then Javetta. Then, I heard this. Sometimes it's rewarding to be wrong. Also, Jeff Buckley does a great rendition of this song.

@@ormirian7364 - In music, it is almost impossible to rank artists. The best I can explain the renditions of this song is that Javetta comes from the soul, Dorota comes from the heart, and Jeff comes from the gut. They are all performances that, if you don't love them, you are not paying attention.

Sadly, the recording levels seem to be a bit too high - there is some distortion. Her rendition of this song, however, is near perfect.
