That was the perfect song for her finally coming home after 210 days at sea. I had never heard of Dotan until this movie. Great job to whoever chose this song for that particular scene. My hat goes off to you. Beautiful job. :)

Hands down the best movie I've watched I still cry no matter how many times I watch it... Unfortunately I was unable to be a Sydney when she came home but rest assured I was watching from Newcastle Australia... Being the same age as her I wonder what Jessica Watson is doing now?

Really your favorite movie? I found more meaning in some other movies, more intellectual story arcs, character development and messages. Definitely love this movie but it isn’t in my top 50 favorite films. But what I hear Jessica is making it through a hard time. She met a boy right after this and they fell in love he died of a stroke two years ago when they were planning on getting married. Now she is living her life and making it through by sailing. My heart goes out to her I really love adventure stories and I followed her adventure in college.
