8 жыл бұрынHere is the March 14, 1977 episode of "Double Dare", hosted by Alex Trebek. The show had just moved to its 10AM (Eastern) timeslot on CBS after being beaten in the ratings by "Wheel of Fortune". Now against reruns of "Sanford & Son", it didn't fare much better. I still think it's a pretty good show, though.

Nobody gets slimed,gets pies smashed in their faces or ran 8 obstacles,it's the late 70's version of Double Dare with Alex Trebek Pre-Jeopardy and pre Ken Jennings,This is the CBS daytime version of Double Dare and yes I did hear the sound affect from the former Price Is Right game Penny Ante.

+Brent Rolland I think was the only subject that ever went through all ten clues.

+BRBTheFireball Actually, there was one time where both contestants failed to guess the subject (Louise Lasser) after all ten clues were given. They knew who she was actually (the actress that played Mary Hartman, Mary Hartman), but they didn't know her real name.

Double Dare would be replaced by CBS Daytime reruns of Here's Lucy in May 1977.

Buzzr is now running “Double Dare” every Sunday night at 7:00 P.M. & 10:00 P.M.
