Damn Lester...This is so hard on your supporters too! Waiting for the next video to hopefully hear that you have at least found Santiana, is killing me! I’m just beginning to worry that something has gone wrong. I can’t even imagine being in your shoes! Praying for all.

Lester, take out your drone and fly it slowly around out there. Maybe, with a little luck, you could see a little white in all that green area and find her location. Santiana is a mighty big girl and she maybe could be seen and need help. Love and prayers to all.

Little Journey when she was trying to lower herself to go under the fence like her best bud, my heart ❤️ but was also nervous for her being in that “big” pasture.. and the poor dove oh nooo... AND Santianna.. jam packed video here 😁 I’m praying she and baby are fine!

No reason to worry. Cattle stay away until labors over and can stay done for a week or so with the new baby before returning to the herd. Cattle are herd animals she’ll be back

Pretty sure the tree canopy would block being able to see anything with the drone and it’s too dense woods to fly through the trees. Lester would have done it already if that was an option.

Also...this was recorded the day after the first video...so I’m assuming first was Saturday because it started out with “it’s the weekend” which would make this one Saturday....it’s possible this has changed by this point(Thursday)

You might need a visit to the vet with the dove and to kep in the cage for a week or 2 while it heals or it will die.

@@ladiogarcia6579 well it needs time for the leg to heal. If it does not heal it cant purch in a tree and many birds die if they can't purch in trees. It is also vunerable as pray to a preditor while injured it looks like something already tried to get to it. That might be why is was in with the horses they may have been keeping it safe from preditors especially how quickly voodoo came up to see what was going on whe Lester went to pick it up.

You are a great teacher Lester to explain to us all why Santianna would trek that far back into the bush along with the hunting techniques of predators. And I'd be willing to bet that a lot of viewers stopped and thought of the last time they saw any predator hunting and remembered like me, that most ambush predators will hide and wait in a dense cover UNTIL their prey walks or runs past in an open area where there is little or no cover to escape to. Nicely done sir, nicely done. By the way, you have a smart animal there so I wouldn't worry too much, she's a tough cookie and if you keep riding through the bush calling her, it will remind her that she has a guardian who will keep both her and her calf (calves??hehehe) safe. Great job Lester, great job. P.S. I'm pretty sure Tex has come across a few littles in his travels and he's seems like the kind of guy who might go up to Journey or Pig Newton, take a sniff and say something like 'Hey there kid, you are in the wrong place, come with me, I'll show you the way out, then it's up to you, kid.'

@Dorcas Watson the canopy of leaves in the forest would block out the drones view. The only way that might work would be putting a heat sensing device on the drone and those are very expensive

The calf Jacob is carrying is definitely Miracle. Paw paws calf. Her mom died delivering miracle. That's how she got her name.

Lester i hope santiana and calf are okay. I am worried about her. Lester you are doing a good looking for her. Dont kick yourself over it. She will show up sooner or later. We all will say a prayer for her and baby. Poor journey wants to be normal like all the other goats. Pig newton is a bad influence on her taking her out to tex's pen. Journey sweetheart your going to get hurt following pig newton around the barn. That poor dove, they come to the right place for help. It is a sanctuary for animals who have been abused, left behind, or etc. I love doves( i use to get mourning doves where i lived). They are beautiful and i love to hear them coo. It is in good hands.
