I love it..... I was wondering how he had a Double Eagle on such a new truck.... ABSOLUTELY a cool story.... Back in the day when a truck had a large D/E you were big shot trucker..... AWESOME TRUCK.... SAFE TRAVELS....

Happened to see Arlyn and Linda at 75 Chrome Shop a few weeks ago. They are some of the nicest folks, really enjoyed talking trucks and trucking with them.

I started working at Double Eagle in 2000 2 days after graduating High school and worked there until November of 2000 whenever George W was voted in and got laid off. My uncle and I worked in the Mounting Dept and done all the final work before they hit the road. Mainly what I done was cut the back of the cabs out and made the facer board in the cab and final cleaning. I’ve seen some homes roll out the doors

That is one sweet ride. 318” wheelbase? That’s so nice. Unfortunately, in a few years, Pete, KW, Kenworth, all of them, won’t offer a manual from the factory.

Yes It's a Beautiful Tractor Trailer and to have and 18 Speed Transmission is definitely a plus because I DO NOT BELIEVE IN AUTOMATICS ! I HATE THEM !BUT I really do not care for the color RED !

Beautiful rig. Sleeper is sharp. Attention to detail. Truckers aren’t firemen. Fire engine red sucks. You can re- paint.

@rayray4192 I've seen fire trucks that aren't painted red! If a person wants to paint their car or truck red its their choice. Fireman don't have exclusive ownership of the color red.

@@mgp870 you are stating the obvious. Color is personal preference. My Kenworth W900L is butterscotch color. I’ve owned competition Orange, Emerald green, turquoise, Kelly green, canary yellow, sky blue, and pale rose, royal blue, and raspberry. Colors other than red, white, and black are attractive and get way more compliments than fire engine red. I’ve seen thousands of fire trucks but fire trucks are not the substance of my opinion.

Be better if it was a Kenworth with windows in the front of the sleeper. Nice rig just the same.
