DOUBLE LASER POWER! - Pergear S10 aka. Atomstack X7 Pro Review

To get more power than previously possible, Atomstack has combined two laser diodes into one to create a true 10w laser. This is an incredible amount of power, but can it be controlled? The Pergear Laserstorm S10, or more commonly known as the Atomstack X7 Pro is a premium diode laser that can easily compete with many CO2 lasers, but is it any good?

Hi, what’s the best setting for basic cutting ? Like for wood, mdf etc !? We keep burning the wood and can’t seem to get a full cut through! Like letters and names , circles etc ! Thanks so much

I always enjoy your videos! I really enjoy that you don't have 4554 cuts per minute. I never knew that such a low powered laser can cut wood and acrylic! Excellent review! Keep up the great work! Do you know if you can cut EPDM rubber on this laser?

I'm not very familiar with EPDM, but I would think that if it is thin enough it should be possible. Make sure to research first though if it is save to do so, as some plastics create toxic or even carcinogenic smoke when cut with a laser.

@@DarkArtGuitars Thanks! I will try and find out! One more question. Do you know if for example for acrylic 4mm thickness, how many passes in order to cut? Or single pass is enough for most thicknesses?

hello! your channel is amazing! to make "only" engravings of portraits of people on small stainless steel plates, do you recommend Aufero laser 2(lu2-4 sf) or atomstack x7 pro? Thank u

Depends, if it is a business and time is a factor for you, go with the X7 Pro. If it's just a hobby and you don't mind it taking a bit longer, the Aufero Laser 2 is a great machine (better in some aspects) but has less raw power.

What sort of safety googles would you recommend for that machine ?

Any goggles designed for blue lasers should be fine, though I'm not an expert.

100% power 300-500mm/min is what I used

8mm plywood at 200mm/min with 4-5 passes? How much power? 100%? With the NEJE A40640 I cut 8mm poplar plywood with 200mm/min and 3 passes at 85% power and focus slightly below surface of the material. With AirAssist I need to add.

I did 100% at 400mm/min in 4-5 passes on the piece that I had, but it always greatly depends on the exact kind of plywood how much power is needed.

Using a beam splitter mirror to combine the outputs, 50% of each laser must pass through, and the other 50% must get reflected. Mathematically, it still adds up to the strength of one laser.. So how is it double the beam power.. ??
