[DOUBLE OAK ESSENTIALS ICEBERG WALLET REVIEW]
Double Oak Essentials heard my critiques of their first generation pop-up wallet (their words, not mine) and came out with a new version. They sent one over in a beautiful blue color.
They got rid of the elastic cash band and put a currency slot in the front flap. It works well enough and should get better with time as the leather breaks in a bit.
The metal card holder is also easier to remove if you would like to attach it to your MagSafe compatible iPhone. There are enough card slots plus the pop-up holder for most folks.

I know this sounds odd, but this video is already better than most other wallet review videos on youtube. Doesnt sound in the least biased, well and constructive praises and criticism. Please keep this up with other wallets, its good to watch and follow. (Subbed now)

I've had this wallet for over two months now and I'm loving it. Mine came pristine out of the box with zero scratch marks or imperfections in any way (although it has gathered a couple since then as expected of leather products). It took around a week of breaking in the wallet for it to close properly 100% of the time, but even before then, it was hardly an issue. I've also never had any problems with the bill pouch. I find that it helps a lot if you fold each bill in half and put them in individually (side by side and with the fold pointing upwards so it's easier to count the bills), rather than have a stack of bills and then fold the entire stack. Personally, I would much much prefer the current bill pouch over a metal clip at the back, but that's just my opinion.

Just ordered this wallet after watching numerous reviews. I never carry cash so dont want or need a clip.

the essentialbag slim wallet is very similar to this but has a full size department for cash and a small one for coins. It's *nearly* perfect. It locks the cards with a spring mechanism, which works, but i have the feeling it will wear out. Also it lacks friction for the cards so in theory cards could fly out if you push hard. But atm I think it's the best out there.

I really liked the video! I was going to get a secrid but this ticks all the boxes! The things that separates the double oak from secrid: 1. I hated the button close, looks like a purse. 2. The glued in hard box on the secrid, ugh I love that the double oak can be removed and attached to my iPhone! 3. The cash pouch. This my favorite. I like that I can fold up some money and stash it rather than that stupid plastic thing holding money. So yeah, great review and now I’m excited to get a wallet that fits all my needs. Thank you!

Great review. Don’t think it’s for me. Kings Loot so far has been my favorite wallet, used the black leather one for years and it’s been great nothing has been able to replace it yet
