Acrylic pouring: Fluid art
My pouring medium used for my current work is a pre mix of 70% “Mont marte clear craft glue and 30% warm water, (most pva glues can be made up with same ratios to make a pouring medium), I add my pouring medium to my paint slowly until I achieve the consistency of pouring cream, approximately 50/50 more pm if needed.
My paint brands mostly used are the Mont marte studio acrylics, dimensions, or pouring paints, Boom Gel stain.
When iv mixed my paints I add 2-4 drops maximum of Helmar silicone, also Australian made, I stir in well.
I always like to mix up my paints and add silicone the day before I’m going to paint, and cover with a damp cloth, as I have found I have much better results.

They looked like two volcanoes side by side with crater lakes! The brighter blue on the milk paint side really did look like a mirror calm lake from above. I like the effect of the milk paint a lot. Oh my gosh I learned so much today from this lab. The White milk paint brings a whole new meaning to “cells”. I think you refer to it as “flocking “. It reminded me of how egg breaks up in hot and sour soup. (Does that makes sense?) The platinum had a calming affect to my senses which I like. Could use it for a dark sky or an deep ocean effect. I wonder what each of these colors would look like under your black cherry swipe. Gilly, your curiosity is infectious. It takes courage to share one’s curiosity with the world. Every day you demonstrate courage and integrity as you present your tutorials. The world is falling in love with you, just as they did Mrs. Doubtfire. The world is falling in love with you, for the same reason they fell in love with Mrs. Doubtfire. You’re a role model for the world. You got me tickled today when I heard you lovingly call your dog darling. In the past I’ve heard you call your husband darling. And that’s why I got tickled you have the same nickname for both of them. Which tells me you must love your husband a lot; since you give him the same nickname as you do your dog. Because you know we love our dogs more than anything. LOL seriously your husband must be a special guy

Hi Gilly it was looking very Salvatore Dahlish. The ring poor with the milk paint just seem to almost melt over the other poor. It appeared very 3D. The darker inner ring from the enamel made the circle look sunken like the volcano at Mt Gambier. The rings looked weird yet awesome at the same time. Quite memorising. And all that before you put the heat wand on it. 👽👀👁 Wow those colours didn't half pop. And those little with cells over the light but where fantastic. Could you do it again please. LOL

Gosh I forgot to tell you what I did. Mix my pouring medium recipe in a big bowl. When I poured it into the storage container, I ran it through a strainer. I can see the air bubbles dissipate when the bubbles came into contact with the metal strainer. Plus, it got rid of any little crusty things that tends to set up in the medium. But, I bet all of you seasoned artist knew that already.

Hi Gilly!! 👋😎👋 There are effects that I like on both sides. On the milk paint side, the colors seem to look glittery even tho they don't shine like glitter, because of the way the paint has broken up the other paints. I do like the 'Belize' blue pool with the white beach surrounding it! On the silver side, the red looks like it's glowing to me. I really like that! There are other effects, but those stand out to me. I want to say something else, and I hope I don't offend. I just found out that two of my favorite artists, and both of you are Australian, have what I feel is a sad relationship with each other. I have prayed that this could be healed. Now is not the time to hold negative thoughts towards another person. I don't know and don't want to know what past problems arose, but isn't forgive and forget a more positive state to be in? I love you both and only wish for the best for you. Again, I don't mean to offend, and if I have, please forgive me. This the only time I will bring this up, but for me, I felt I needed to try. Have a blessed day and stay safe!!

Thank you for your kind comments, I really appreciate 🥰 The lady you are referring to, broke ties with me many months ago by blocking me and I was wondering why until she did that video. I forgive her for her actions of telling lies and deceiving her audience, but honestly I don’t need two faced people in my life I have beautiful friends and family and can not waste my oxygen on a very different lady you all see on screen. She really has done some vile act to a few artist that I know of and many others have contacted me to tell me their experiences with her. You have not offended me at all, please understand I don’t need a person like her in my life, she is talented but mean. Big hugs to you sweet lady your a shining star 🌟
