It was a solo queue, so I remember begging my team in text chat to stop fighting bot, I both wanted to go to another lane and farm but also didn't want to leave them without a tanky boi. I've been playing Bristle alot lately and I did not know about that TI strat with the Back skill. I'll try that out in the future! "Being able to take their mana for most heroes is really punishing" if you're bristle, who is weak to lack of mana, you just walk up to lion and punch him. The mana suck is basically a channeled self stun. You stop to suck them and they can just kill you.

Bristle i played with last night (crusader 2 gaming) built no stats vs tiny drow and blamed me for the lane. They went straight ring of health -> mana boots and bought no regen: tangos/mangos. I asked nicely, please build stats im playing disruptor and i have more hp than you. Buy some branches, get a soul ring or bracer. Didnt listen, had no sustain and told me to leave lane. They were in a 3 stack so i got bullied for the rest of the game.

im half way through an almost every single fight has ended with the deaths within 1 of eachother. Even fights were 4 or 5 people die, neither side ever take a lead. its remarkable!

I might be wrong here since im drawing parallels between different MOBA's but Super minions in LoL are definitely NOT always a good thing especially if you're only slightly ahead. In lol super minion waves walk faster And will push for you (obviously) but if the other team can clear them fast enough it can be bad for you since the super minions will 1: REDUCE how much you can farm since its always pushing and you obviously dont get gold from that 2: INCREASE how much the other team can farm since super waves arrive faster, are worth more gold and will be fully intact because the super will tank all creep damage. The main benefit of Super minions is creating cross map pressure becvause its like a having a perma split push and super minions WILL end the game if left unchecked so you can use that to take neutral objectives and extend your lead, but low elo people like myself are bad at that so getting supers can actually be a bit of a trap and end up swinging gold into their carries. I assume a similar principle applys in dotes. Basically giving your opponent access to more creeps worth more gold is a bad thing if you dont do anything with it.

Yeah bristle is the reason i stopped playing dota for now untill a patch stops that bullshit. I dont think the last patch nerfed it enough to be meaningful. At least bara cant flash farm from start anymore so that was nice.

I'm always amazed how unbalanced Dota is, how is Bristle not clearly incredibly overpowered like this? This kind of nonsense just makes me hate playing this game.
