I saw this movie a few days ago and frankly, it was really fun. It reminded me of a mix between Wreck-It Ralph and the one Futurama episode with the video game invaders. Both of which are beloved by me and my sister

when I first saw this trailer, it looked interesting. also, I used to think that they were being too judgemental just because Adam and Kevin were in it. so I thought that this movie wouldn't be so bad once the movie came out. when the movie came out, I decided to read the reviews before I watch it. how wrong was I indeed. I felt glad that I didn't watched it.

I just got back from Pixels. What I can tell you is this: It's not good, but I didn't hate it like everyone else did. From what I've heard from every review I've read, they were pretty harsh on it. I'd say the positives are visual effects and when the video games are attacking. Everyone in their reviews have immaturely disregard the action sequences and the visual effects due to them being in an Adam Sandler movie. Plus there are cool cameos by a lot of 80's property. But the negatives are it's still an Adam Sandler movie with jokes that don't work and it doesn't know what it want to be. There are times where it's tries to have kid friend moment, but then it turns into a adult joke. I'd say your better off renting it at RedBox and skip to the action scenes. So yeah, it's a rental. It wasn't good, I wasn't mad like everyone else did. P.S. The scene that Korey's talking about that made him give it a Some Ol' Bullshit; I saw that scene, didn't see the problem; that has to be the most childish reason to give this movie a some Ol' bullshit. I still rather sit through Pixels than The Gallows, Faith of Our Fathers and fucking 50 Shades of Grey.

I don’t think Pixels was the worst movie he ever made but by the time it came out people were sick of Adam Sandler and his repetitive tropes. Almost every movie he’s ever made has the same plot which has been done to death. And the premise of Pixels was done better by Futurama. And before anyone jumps on me with the ‘different’ plots let me demonstrate. Tell me if this sounds familiar, Adam Sandler plays a nerdy or quirky underdog. He meets a nice gorgeous girl but has no clue how to pursue her. (Its SOO obvious they’re not going to end up together.) He has a grandma or a total loser as a best friend who try to help him with whatever he’s trying to accomplish. Meanwhile a few bullies try to steal the girl he’s after and get in the way of his goals and it’s not clear why they’re so invested in sticking it to him so badly. Without having to really try he wins what he wants to win, the bullies are humiliated, and the woman who was way out of his league for no apparent reason changes her mind about him and falls in love with him

Why doesn't Tommy ever go watch the movies with them?

I was happy at first that I didn't watch this movie cause I wanted to see Fantastic 4 and I wanted to save money. But, the.n I saw Fantastic 4, And I said,Fuck. I made the biggest mistake of my life.
