This is the 2nd set of 5.25" components we installed in this ride. See previous video for the door panel install. Both sets are ran off of his Rockford Fosgate Prime 400.4 amp.
His lows are ran off 2 Rockford Fosgate Prime 1200.1 Amps
Subs: Ascendant Audio SMD Mini 12's
box info: 3.9 cubes, 33hz. Made of 1" MDF.

I live in napa, ca and I'm down to drive... the shops around here have no clue what they're doing and I'm in need of help!!! just a 4 channel amp install, 2nd battery rewire along with rewiring the original mono block amp, they used shitty wire and did a shitty job. please reply!

Best install. Most youtubers pull out routers as if all people can afford them. More realism in this demo for the average person

what would i use a router on? i would if i could. No room for any tools to cut those circles that is why i used what i did. The tweeter pod is totally in the way.

He always does top notch work every time I seen a video he put as much love in others ppl rides as he would his own . That's the right way a installer should ! Wish he was closer for some my builds but prob so busy anyways

Perfect advise on adding the second skin!!!! I have done a ton of q forms and adding mass to them helps a ton! I have also made mdf baffles for the backside of woofer.....just use 1\2" mdf and make a lil ring. Then a guy can use threaded inserts for mounting. Good video man! I appreciate all you do for the community!

I had a set of Q-logic panels in my Sillyrado until I made some better angled fiberglass pods. I really liked the fit and finish of them. But there is just no way a 6.5 will fit in them. Never thought of sound deadener on the inside though. Great idea.

Should drop some poly fill in the kick pods. It'll sound even better, and SD is definitely a must have for those since they are pretty flimsy on their own.

mrlithium69 i got 6.75 inch speakers in mine.. i couldn't put the grill on them for the same reason. And the 6.5 or 6.75 cant be very deep speakers. But it worked for me.

if they are Toyota Tacoma pods like these, there is no way that doesn't look like shit (if you are telling the truth). Sorry but that has to be horrible looking and sounding too for that matter. What do you fasten the screws into? thin air? Post up lets see these things.

I got an RTA score of 90 out of 100 point in pyschlone in DB drag. But its for a different car but from the same company. I am using CDT audio 6.75 inch speakers. Not very deep speakers.. the one on your video are clearly very deep ones. You can only fit certain 6.5 on there...

Seems like you would unhook the door tweets to avoid blurring the point source on the highs and take full advantage of the position and angle of the kick mounted tweeters for imaging/staging? Great video. Thanks as always!

I have 100 watt 6x9's and 2.5 tweets and is loud as hell with no amp hooked up yet, I can't imagine 4 5.25's and 2x tweets!!!😳

Coming from someone whos plastic door panel rattles all the time, I'll second putting deadener on plastic! It can rattle more than ya think. Bet that truck sounds awesome in person. What sorta mount are you using for the tablet? Family Guy :D

Quick question. Why didn't you second-skin right up to the tweeter hole, trim down, then attach the tweeter basket? Looks like the second skin would collapse a little when tightening it up, making for a nice tight fit with less chance of a rattle too. Keep up the good work. Been watching these vids for years, all the while finding no time to sort my own audio out properly. Ever tried stopping the rattles in a 2003 celica?!!

50LightSabersInAPack that kick panel actually increases the imaging of the car. Because the tweeter is aimed at the driver. i got a 90 RTA score with those kick panels. In southern Cali i am eating the guys in DB drag on the RTA score in Psychlone. I havent finished tuning my system so that RTA score will get better 100 points is the max.

el carin if you look at the pioneer deh 80 prs or a high end head unit nowadays...they meet almost all the eq needs for most people...the 80 prs has a 32 band eq....
