I have never done anything with fiberglass before. There are plenty of instructional videos about it, but none are as descriptive, down to Earth and to the point as yours. I'm in the middle of a 2009 Tacoma Access Cab stereo upgrade with some tough placement choices, and solely because of your videos, I actually believe I know enough to try some custom panels. These videos will be loaded up on my computer the whole time for my first few tries. Awesome videos and thanks for posting...

Thank you for this video. Im trying to learn how to "fiberglass" custom auto parts. Your vid's (out of the 1,000 i've watched) is by far THE BEST! Very easy & simple to understand, not all of the background noise, B.S., confusing extra steps, etc. Very str8 4ward. NO MISSED STEPS EITHER! Cant wait to check-out your other video's!

This was the best video I've seen on fiberglass! You were direct, detailed, showed just enough video of each step, and made it look easy. Awesome vid.

Thank you. Learned a lot. I need to do this to my door. As I have no room in my kick panel area. Just bought a router tonight that fits on the circle jig. So glad I found this video. Made me glad I bought it.

This is the crude way of doing it, would never fly in a high-end shop, look up how to make a fibreglass plug and fibreglass casting with a tooling gel coat. You could do it his way but in person, it looks horrible. It's also much messier his way to much sanding and cutting, the end result doing it his way it will look like dented metal rather than a smooth part that flows with the car. Either way good luck mate.
@myboy0514 жыл бұрын
Farmer Fpv - yes you are correct “HIS JOB “ will look horrible in person . He didn’t take the time to use a skim coat of lightweight bondo filler or cut and sand the edges nice and neat . Lots of people use this method while using more effort and finesse to have a flawless outcome . When I seen him starting to prime that bumpy surface I couldn’t believe what I was seeing .🤯😳

holy Shit batman!. Iv seen your other fiberglass video on how to build a fiberglass box and I was amazed with how you teach the concept of building it. Today I fixed the holes on where I had mounted my tweeters, with fiberglass and realize it is not as hard as I thought it was. Now thanks to this video you have given me the confidence I needed to start my custom kick panel speaker pods.

you can move the brake pedal over a little bit by drilling a couple new holes in the firewall and also trim the side of the pedal a little bit. or cut it off and reweld it. there is a video of a chevy c10 doing kick panels and ran into the same thing. it's a red and white stepside 2wd on airbags
