I love Pendleton blankets and products. I have even gone to the factory in Pendleton, Oregon. They are a top shelf AMERICAN MADE product and I wish I could sell them in my own business. The problem is, they are just way too expensive.

This a nice short video on Pendleton Woolen Mills blankets, but the company is not 150 years old. The original Pendleton Woolen Mills company was founded by world traveler Edwin Young Judd in 1894 and incorporated with that name the next year. Judd introduced Middle Eastern, Japanese and Native American designs to his blankets, rugs, etc. which made them very popular. The Bishop Brothers bought the company in 1909 and retained the name but excluded the earlier company from their history.

Are those national park blankets thicker and warmer than the Pendleton Yakima Camp Blankets? The Pendleton website does not say the weight of the blanket on their website. Thanks, Lester.
