I was born in 1975 ( I turned 5 in July of 1980) and I remember my grandparents and I used to love watching his magic specials on TV.

Watching Doug is like if you were in a happy dream having great and amazing experiences that you wouldn't like to wake up because it's so cool

Wow Rick Schroeder is young as hell. This was even before Silver Spoons. The beginning of the 80's. Great times 😊

I got a chance to meet Doug Henning about 6 months before he passed and we took a great photo together

✨Comin’ up on my big 50fty in 2024.....& it's time to reminisce on this cherished & well loved W🌈lderama W🌈nderfully Wh🌈msical magician!!! ✨After I’ve finish watchin’ a few episodes of Doug Henning’s magic episodes....gonna check out some Penn & Teller next!!!

He was one of the first magicians to eschew the top hat and tails look & portray an Everyman with a sense of wonder…not an austere Svengali Yes, it is VERY much of its times and Doug’s questionable fashion sense and faux-naïveté got old-fashioned fast 😢
