WOW! stunning 😍 this gave me nostalgia. My uncle owned both the Mercedes 190E cosworth and the 740i when I was a kid. Exactly the same colours to the one's behind you, his Beemer was silver and the Merc dark grey ☺️💙

Now seeing this makes me remanice about my old G reg 2.5 cosworth it was a brilliant car and 1 hell of a motor at 4 years old and me at 22 . Strangely the car i replaced it with 2 years later i much preferred which was a 3 years old J reg GSi 2000 cavalier . The red top in the GSi made it seem quicker and it was manual so maybe it was. 2 of my former cars i wish id squirreled away.. Seeing this particularly car makes me want another but unfortunately a good 1 is far too much.

I would never touch a 190e cosworth, this car beauty its on his originality, the only thing i would change on this car its the sound system and keep eveeything original as from factory!

2.5 16V is not a Cosworth. Original Cosworth is the 2.3 16V Cosworth . They did not touch the 2.5 16v. Absolutely love what Doug done.❤❤

Two things, BW mad M3 to compete with Mercedes homologation car not the other way round, also 2.5-16 isn't a true Cosworth as it Mercedes built with blueprints, not like my 2.3-16 which is English built by Cosworth :p great vid! :)

Wasn't it on the 2.3 that was a cosworth, before they fell out with Mercedes because they wanted their name on the block, so Merc produced the 2.5

Against popular opinion I happen to think it would have turned out better without air suspension, I’d be scared scratching the floor and the oilpan and ruin all the good work.

I'm not keen personally. The seats look totally out of place and Airbags is a weird choice imo. I do however want some of those doorcards on my 2.3-16 (190e people will know exactly why)
