I bet your Dad and Granddad spent a lot of time in that building. I guess it was bittersweet for your Dad. Livestock farming is a different deal and it takes a different kind of farmer to be able to do it. I guess you and Travis haven't completely away from livestock with Travis' cows.

Hey Ryan, That ground rod is copper clad steel. You had your thumb on the end with the steel showing. Stick a magnet on it and it'll hold on. HTH 57

The building was "all done". It has outlived any use full purpose for these farmers. Reclaim and re purpose are admirable intentions. Unfortunately, what happens is the folks who say that "we" should re purpose the material are not participatory in the farmers process of reclamation. They exclaim the importance of preservation but don't get off their butts to see through their mission. Bear in mind the farmer is concerned about his time, expense, and liability, and them other guys can't bother themselves with such "details". The farmer decides to get it done, while preserving what materials he deems worthwhile. And so goes it.

New title: How to tear down a barn you are emotionally attached to but have no reasonable need to keep
@maxevil128 жыл бұрын
Why did you tear a perfectly good building? You could have used it for any other porpuse like storing equipment, machines, seed etc, raising hogs, chickens...

what are you going to build from where you tore it down
@DesertDigger18 жыл бұрын
Better run a heavy duty magnet between the hog house and the burn pit so you don't be fixing a lot of flat tires.

Are we going to get a bonfire video? I guess the pyromaniac in me would like to see you light it up some night. If your city sleeker neighbors are anything like my brothers they will be calling the fire department all night.
@MinecraftSlimePvp8 жыл бұрын
You wouldn't really want to rebuild with that would, too much effort, taking the nails out would take a fair while and with that would you wouldn't want to use it because it would be pretty weak and rotted

+45Deere9500 its 100% copper
@45Deere95008 жыл бұрын
Mack Thompson Seriously doubt it! The ground rods are mostly copper bonded, with the interior being steel.

45Deere9500 I make them.They are 100% copper.
@45Deere95008 жыл бұрын
Mack Thompson So you're guaranteeing that the ground rod in the video is 100% copper, just because you say you make them? Still doubt it's 100% copper.
