I learned that in the hard way ( for months it was HELL to fight him for using supers all the time and i was really bad in the game)

@@EmilianoCharlo-xp2ny I did it as a kid and my older brother told me to use charge beam to spin jump thru the fire or shoot missiles while he releases the attack.

Couple races ago, maybe even last one with space & screw. I think even early speed. That's my favorite combo when I used to play SM. Speed, space and screw lol

You needed speedbooster to go beat mother brain, a long room cut norfair in 2 half. So you needed to go to tourian to get speedooster anyway. Wreck ship was useless, but not tourian :p

In that room is obligatory to use morph ball to grab that item without that its impossible to grab

He doesn't have Morph Ball so he cannot grab it at the time. He only has Space Jump and Super Missiles.

what's the item on the tracker at the bottom? It changed when he picked up plasma?

Just like how defeating Phantoon "wakes up" the rest of the Wrecked Ship, there's an event very early in the vanilla game (when you first go down into Blue Brinstar and then come back up) that Wakes Up the Planet. The icon you're confused by depicts one of the eyeball security cameras, and is used to indicate whether the planet still needs to be woken up.

The trigger for it in both vanilla and rando is unlocking a grey door. In this seed, it triggers when Oats kills all the enemies in mini Kraid room.

The races are hard to enjoy without any context for what everyone else is doing. I wish I could see some concept of what others are doing. The normal randos he does being more difficult are more enjoyable to see the cool tricks.
