Hi my name is Caira Button and I am a 26 year old who makes videos about tips, tricks, and organization for small space living. I love the minimalist, feminine, clean vibe. Whoa, what about privacy? Those windows offer a free full show for the neighbors. The apartment is beautiful! I love all the upcycled furniture! That stove 🤤 jealous!!

Finally, a youtuber living in my city! I highly suggest going to Semillas (small Latina owned business in Pilsen) for your eucalyptus and lavender bundles. They smell amazing! She also has a ton of other great plant options.

Seeing how happy and grateful you are is amazing. Beautiful apt. I love the entrance rug and dresser and your couch and the open shelving in the kitchen. Great job on decorating. Washer dryer gas stove dishwasher natural window lighting closet space all amazing. Seeing all the special things you found thrifting amazing.

Thank you for another fabulous video Caira! Great idea on the step stool mine just leans against the wall in the kitchen always getting in the way. When you talked about having them hang on command hooks I was literally going “duh!!”. Thanks again for the tips and tricks in apartment living. 😀

This apartment is gorgeous! I'm so pumped to see this! Chicago is so underrated! Everyone assumes the city is the only thing, but there is a "Chicagoland" for a reason. Hop on a train and visit the middle of the forest, rent a boat, go jetski-ing all on smaller lakes than Lake Michigan if you're not feeling like you can handle machinery on the giant lake.

Chicago born and raised. Chicago is my heart. I hope you both have been blessed with experiencing the true beauty of Chicago. THE PEOPLE. THE SALT OF THE EARTH, THE GOOD SAMARITAN, THE NEIGHBORS WHO WOULD GIVE YOU THE SHIRT OF THEIR BACK. bandage your kids knee, feed you if times get rough or undig your car in 5ft of snow, also the culture of Chicago its the best of New York with museums and theatres and omg food but its cleaner and the people are friendlier. I can go on and on. We welcome you!! You have a great place. You already know 2 mandatory items the shopping cart and the space for winter survival gear.

I moved from Chicago about four months ago and I miss it so much 😭. Seeing your view, I recognize some familiar buildings. We were on the 30th floor at Grand and State and had floor to ceiling windows, too. My favorite spot was our balcony. I loved the vibe of Chicago so much. Side note, I've got the same couch. Super functional.

The doggie just melts my heart 😩. So cute I can’t wait to get another doggie. I love what you did with the space, and the dresser in the room is soooo cute! I have a couch like yours but I got it from ikea and it’s cute and modern looking. You should check into it.

Adorable apartment, I love Chicago and your windows. I’m laughing about your comments about the eucalyptus in the shower. I loved the scent when I’ve done it, but I couldn’t stand the extra cleaning it required. I feel like it made my shower wall not exactly oily or sticky, but definitely something in between.

We got the couch used and it’s kind of breaking, so it’s hard for me to justify reupholstering it when that would cost more than we got it for😅

Girl! Omg great tour. Lol I think we are neighbors- I saw my building outside your window:) (sorry if that’s creepy) FYI: Dried eucalyptus is what gives off that nice smell :) if you buy regular live kind it will just be a weird plant hanging from your shower . I get mine from Etsy

A suggestion based on your comment - you can get a sofa cover designed and custom fitted for a fraction of the price it would cost to get a new sofa.....I did that for my ikea corner sofa (which was a dull brown colour) its now a lovely cream colour with super soft fabric - it looks as if it cost a fortune now and soo comfy......
