Yes there are a plenty of golf courses here and depending where you are moving from, you can play year round

There can be a gator in any body of water. In downtown at waterfront park the high grass is cleared out and it’s a designated swimming area. So far I haven’t seen one there. Of course you don’t go in anybody if water at night
