DownTown Kingston Jamaica !! I Was Warned Not To Go but i dint Listen !
Welcome to Kingston The Capital city Of Jamaica and today im on a journey From Montego Bay To Kingston Jamaica.
I was Warned Not to go there because its not vesry safe but i dint listen I stil went. I was even told not to wear Jewelery while going there which i did because sometimes its good to listen to the locals. All the same despite many warnings i still went to Downtown Kingston Jamaica which was an experince of a life time and being solo made me experince the real jamaican vibe.
I hope you enjoyed the vlog and let me know your thoughts in the comments section down below and please subscribe for more videos.
Jah Bless Jamaica One love.

Dee Mwango , I’m a Jamaican living in Florida. I’m so happy to see that you are so brave. Jamaicans are warm, kind and friendly people. We are also honest people too . I’m glad you are correcting some of the wrong narratives .Crime is every where in this world. That Rasta man that returned the money you lost proved that not everyone is dishonest. Also a big thank you to David who left what he was doing and toured you through and took you safely to your bus stop. Please Enjoy our country . In addition the name of the market is Coronation Market.😍😍

Dee I so happy that you went down town and you saw that it was safe, also happy to see that your money was returned by the fast man, honest people are everywhere. I really appreciate the guy who left his stall and gave you a safe tour of the market. Enjoy our beautiful island Jamaica.

Dee, stop telling people you are alone. I am from Jamaica and I am not going downtown by myself. You have to be really careful, especially of those guys that are way too friendly. Stop telling people that you were warned not to come. and do not disclose your location to strangers. It's not always what it appears to be. Have fun but be safe.

Dee, I know you have to go back to Mobay soon, but you should also visit New Kingston to show the contrast between both parts of Kingston. Most KZfaqrs when they go to Jamaica only focus on downtown Kingston because of the busyness, but hardly ever show the other side of Kingston, it also creates a misconception that the entire Kingston is dangerous especially if that's all people seeing. Both New Kingston and Downtown Kingston are very important to Jamaica in different ways, downtown Kingston is mainly Market commerce, while New Kinston is mainly corporate commerce.

I have to agree the people in Jamaica are super friendly. People in America especially white people are very racist. And I don't care if they have positive vibes or not a lot of them are racist and cold. Jamaica has a different type of vibe and I love it. Most of the people who we saw were very friendly in Jamaica. I have never been around anything like that in my life and I love it and I miss it❤

This vlog was nice! As a Caribbean (*Trinbagonian) woman who used to travel alot in islands, I really enjoyed the beautiful scenery on the drive from Montego Bay to Kingston, including that brilliant blue sea water (I could even smell it) that makes you want to jump right in for a Super Soak! Jamaica is full of untouched green spaces, which is very soothing for one's spirit. Those cloud formations affected by the mountains were a sight to behold. I'm glad you met David. He has such a warm personality, he would make an excellent, informal tour guide. Hopefully the opportunities will come where he could consider doing it at lest part time. Big-Up to the rasta in the market for his integrity. These folks are the true ambassadors of Jamaica.Their acts of kindness will go a longer way in attracting visitors to the country than any Tourist Board promotion. Walk Good Dee! 😎

Let me be straight. Jamaicans tend wrongful pass on this stigma of tourists being unsafe and i hear many times people ask me if Jamaica is safe as if they are going into a war zone. Just like anywhere else you gotta have common sense but foreigners is the most safest people in Jamaica. The only thing that will happen is you will get overcharge because your s tourist and they think tourist are rich and that's like anywhere else in world. So dee your safe and don't worry. For those who didn't know years ago Parade (I guess Parade is name that because if military also used the area for drills) was used to carry our public hangings and other state ceremonies. The big tree for years has been used as a marker and a meet up spot for people...

Kingston is the smallest Parish in Jamaica and the 'gettos' are a small section of Kingston. The first time somebody showed me where the gettos are I was shocked. These small neighborhoods are larger in culture and in the news than their actual geographic size.
