I hope Main Street Buffet never goes away. Just a quaint, nice, simple and cozy buffet with reasonable prices and good food. The prime rib looked good, along with the ribs. We were there at the beginning of 2024 and the prime rib was ok. Yours looked better, lol!

Hi Bill and Lisa! Shirley here! Nice do Lisa, looks good on you! And you’re right Lisa, my mom and dad’s generation always believed on putting salt on watermelon, cantaloupe, honeydew and strawberries too. I think it’s an Asian thing because the family in Canada does the same thing and they all immigrated from China and Hong Kong. My dad always said that salt brought out the sweetness in the fruit. My brothers and I always had to grab the fruit before they shook salt all over it because we preferred it without salt. Me, I prefer to eat cut fruit with a dollop of whipped cream.

The chicken soup at the buffet is fantastic, the best item there!

Now this is what a Las Vegas buffet was like before all the gourmet buffets showed up. Good food at good prices. Can't wait to try it. Grew up putting salt on watermelon, usually when it isn't very sweet. Salt helps bring out the flavor in foods. If it's sweet I eat it without salt. Love the new haircut Lisa!

My first time visiting Vegas, I lost sooo much money! I was so angry and decided that the buffet would be my *bleep* for the entire week I was there. I never ate so much food at any buffet in my entire life. For breakfast, I had 6 loaded plates of food. My favorite thing was lox and bagels. Mounds of it. For lunch and dinner, I had 5 plates each of food. Prime rib and baked potatoes along with Thanksgiving turkey with all the fixings. I wasn't playing! I learned how to consume entire plates of food and how to navigate the buffet to where I wasn't filling up on fillers, but I was getting the real stuff, which were the more expensive dishes. I ate that way for 3 meals for 7 days. Going back home to Hawaii, I suffered the revenge of Vegas. I didn't poop for 7 days. Once the cabin pressure built up in the plane, I was in such excruciating pain, I was sweating and couldn't breathe. Top it all off, I can't make in public restrooms. When we finally got home, I still couldn't make. 4 days later, I was relieved of my misery😫😭💩💩💩🤬 Never again!

Nice spread...enjoy watching your folks enjoy! I find that in my late sixties my appetite has really decreased. I try to exercise a lot, but still I would only eat about 5 dollars worth! Ribs look great! You two are Livin' the Dream!

I love the prime rib and the ribs and the fried shrimp. Great price for a dinner buffet with prime rib. Good to go early for the freshest food. Great video guys as always. I'll be back for the dinner buffet soon. I'll tell them Bill and Lisa sent me!

That's one of my favorite places to eat while in Vegas, especially when we come there with vacations Hawaii ,we get those meal tickets that makes it even cheaper, good food and good place 😊

I'm goodness everything looked so good 😋 I worked in a nursing home and the chef was famous for his baked beans. It was also the first time I heard of using pineapple in the beans. He used crushed pineapple so that no one would be able to figure out his secret 😂. I found out because I became besties with him and he trusted me with his "secret" ingredient 🤭

YAY no time limit and I love the different ethnic foods vs. the gourmet style buffets with 90 minutes of line-waiting then rushing-eating. Everything you two sampled was good to very good and a few even excellent - that's all you can ask for AND a reasonable price - again - you can kick back with each other, sip on soup, then go for a salad, taking your time and then heading for the various entrees. I'd be visiting that Hawaiian food for sure as it is unique for a buffet plus the prime rib was better than many of the high ticket buffets ! You two did a GREAT job reviewing this eatery - thank you so much !!!

A lot of delicious looking comfort foods! You pretty much get your money's worth with the prime rib alone. The bacon pineapple beans looked awesome! With high blood pressure, I don't do it so much anymore, but in my younger days we would always salt watermelon and cantaloupe. I love the architecture and design of that place!

Mother and Dad put salt and pepper on their cantaloupe. Dad, being that he is from the South, used to just eat water melon plain and of course the juice from the fruit, is perfect!

I love Main Street Garden Court! It is a simple buffet, but I love it! If you use Vacations Hawaii as your travel agency for your Las Vegas trip, you can eat at the buffet for like $5 to $7 dollars.

Lisa your hair looks fabulous!!! Yes this buffet looks like it's a winner! All the food my buffet has to start with salad! Looks wonderful. Love the Italian buffet linguini with maybe a meatball. A slice of pepperoni pizza.And the China buffett a spring roll, the chicken, fried rice if they have it. Small piece of prime rib and the Augratin potatoes. Love the green beans with that. pineapple baked beans with Bill's giant beef rib. Definitely the Mexican buffet. Taco, enchilada, chips and nacho cheese. Love NO sugar added Bana cream pie, chocolate pudding and that's it. Would go back for Hawaiian food Lisa for sure!😅

Salt and Lemon juice is how my mom served us watermelon when I was little. My dad preferred his homemade a mix of 50/50 salt and cayenne pepper 🌶.

Salt on watermelon and salt and pepper on cantaloupe. When I have Honey Dew and cantaloupe I add sprinkling of sugar.
