McMinnville sits about 38 miles from Downtown Portland and is the biggest city in Yamhill County with about 35,000 residents.
This was taken on June 16th during Phase 2 reopening due to the virus I believe.

We love living in McMinnville. Small enough to have a small town feel, but large enough to provide decent shopping and restaurants. Great for walking and cycling (as long as you stay on the south side of town). 45 min from the Oregon coast.

This is where my mother and her family are from and I wanted to see what her hometown is like I never seen such a beautiful place like this

I grew up here . Our first house was on Davis Street. . We used to walk downtown to Thrifty Drug or the movie. I was in the Christmas carol at the community theater. I moved away when I was 18 and haven’t been back in almost 30 years.

What a cute town. I live in Marysville Calif, very similar to McMinnville, only except not as nice looking as McMinnville. So many northern California towns and Oregon towns are the same. I love it.

My hometown, always loved third street. Wish they'd expand the downtown with more mixed use zoning where you have offices and apartments above businesses. Maybe one day I'll move back

Well kept up. Nice looking downtown area free of homeless, or so it appears - but no people or customers at the tables enjoying meal.

Actually, McMinnville is a perfectly dreadful town. It has no nightlife. All it has are the wine snobs. One street does not make a city. The town ranks last of all cities in Oregon whose population has a college degree.

Sadly I kind of have to agree to an extent. If you don’t like wine or can’t afford to shop on 3rd it’s pretty sucky. But I also still love it here.
