Loved the walk. The extraordinary steps, the lovely, meditative water feature, the water view. The music for the flower art should be magical. Do you ever do walking tours on some of the islands. I wanted to go to Bainbridge Island, before I got laid up. My great-grandfather use to live on Mercer Island. Before my dad died, he told me a story about he and his friends, borrowing a row boat and sneaking over to Blake Island to play. This would have been in the 1930's. Thanks for a great walk. The flowers were gorgeous.

Kyoto is amazing

I tried to watch a dead mall video recently, and they just walked around a downtown retail core somewhere. It's weird when some stores close in one place while they're going strong at Disney Springs. It's weird when you've heard horror stories about girls from prison doing work release at a cafe in downtown seattle and now in this video that cafe is closed, then you think about how hard it was for yourself to try to work in food service somewhere else

Thanks for this. I haven't been to Seattle in over 20 years. I used to visit, when I lived in CA, then moved to the East Coast for a while, and now I'm back on the West Coast (Salem, OR). I'll be staying in Seattle for a few nights in September, so this was a great refresher course on downtown Seattle. Also, you may not start a food channel, but it would be great to see some of your favorite meals when you're in SEA. I love all types of SEA cuisine, so a peak at that would be great!

You are one of the friendliest people i have seen from seattle. last year the first time i went to seattle because of another Seattle steamer Mad Statter who on her stream show your videos which made want to sub to your channel and follow you. i have enjoyed it ever since. the walk you are doing to day is about how far i explored in downtown seattle i came over on the water taxi from west seattle. I mostly explore west seattle and stayed in burien and explore all over the area. I loved that statue with the hammer moving so slightly. my plan when i went to down town was to walk to the space needle but never made it. I stopped at a cost plus world market and released how far i had to go and how far i would have to walk back to the water taxi. I am glad to see you feeling better after a rough year losing your mother. I have lived all my life in oakland so i am glad to hear you are coming this summer. I do not know how long since you been back to oakland the downtown is building lots of high-rise apartments. an area that is interesting in Oakland is the piedmont ave there are lots of restaurants even fenton's creamery which the guys from pixar animated in the cartoon up. also at the end of the street there is mountain view cemetery with huge mosuliums of rich guys like ghirardelli the folgers of coffee company. I am going to be returning to seattle summer solstice week and i am going to do this walk and get to the space needle too i got an orca card just in case i get tired of walking thanks for a great video

Thats a really dangerous area. Be careful out there. Seattle is a place where you think you are in a nice place and can quickly find yourself getting a baseball bat to the back of the head to be robbed of your valuables.
