I remember Dino falling to the ground holding his chest...people just walked by.. :( I was only about 8 yrs old mid 70s running the streets on my own.. I felt so bad for him .. Bothered me my whole life.. I was so happy on one of my visits home in early 2000s to see him still selling popcorn at Ramsey lake...

Replayed this many times and at 0:58, the lad coming into the frame from the right is Don Charron. Laughed my azz off for half an hour. Couldn't miss that walk, and of course, he still had some hair left on top.

Grew up in Sudbury late 60's early 70's. Was in the hospital with Dino the popcorn man in early 1980. He was very shy buy also very nice. Does anyone know what happened to Dino as I moved to Toronto in the late 1980's. Thank you!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Could you tell me where you got this footage? I'm working on a project of my own and some of the clips you've got here are exactly what I'm looking for. I tried to look through the Sudbury Archives website but found nothing like this. Any information would be a big help. Thanks.

Looks like a busy place. I took the bus from copper cliff to go see the original starwars in 1977 at the Odeon. I did it on my own at 5 years old. 10 or 15 cents for the bus each way and 50 cents to get into the movie !
