PART 1 OF A THREE PART SERIES: SEARCHING FOR A PARTICULAR MISSING CAR IN VICTORIA
Follow us as we search for cars in the Yarra River and investigate a case of a missing vehicle that may hold the clues that solve a cold case that has baffled authorities in the region. A phone turned off, A picture at a traffic light, and then a last ping 14 minutes later and then gone .. vanished.
Car missing.
This is Part 1 of a 6 day investigation and search for vehicles in the region that may hold clues to the case.
Dan and Bill find multiple cars under water in the Yarra River after an exhausting search of the region and when the search starts to go cold a car that has a similar shape shows on the Humminbirds screen under a very high AND dangerous bridge inside the 14 minute window of the search parameters.

I am constantly surprised by the beauty of Australia. Your filming is getting more and more impressive especially with the drone. It's great to see you suited up Dan. @@JaniceFromOz2018 It really does have pretty scenery. I saw the Platypus on the sign and got so excited! Are there many in Victoria living in the wild? I would be amazed if they get footage on one.

@@lulunz6809 I have no idea of numbers but I understand that platypus can be spotted in many rivers and tributaries throughout Victoria. In fact they can be found throughout eastern Queensland and New South Wales, eastern, central and southwestern Victoria and throughout Tasmania. The Yarra River which appears in this video is an area where they are found. Both the platypus and echidna are monotremes (egg laying mammals) that feed their young from milk pores not teats and are only found in Australia (one species of echidna is also found in New Guinea). I can't remember in which video now but I believe Bill actual caught a brief glimpse of one on camera. By the way, Australia is not limited to all the beautiful and diverse scenery, New Zealand also has many wonderous and spectacular sights to see. ❤🦘

Now you are both in my home State. Gee Bill, you are getting a bit grumpy lately🤣. What's poor Dan doing to you? 😂 Is his snoring keeping you awake nights? 😂 It was a good search, some of those waterways can be quite treacherous, so many hidden obstacles and current. As kids, that's one thing we learn very early, never dive into any waterways until you have familiarised yourself with that area that day. Looking forward to your next adventures in the near future. 16 minutes after driving past the grand hotel would have you far up past the dam and in the thick of the black spur ....did they check the cameras at the black spur did they check the cameras at the narbi servo or black spur pub ? .....that roads thin as and can be covered in wet leaves he could be down the off the right side and so far in the scrub that knowbodys seen him

Idk boys i gotta sick gut feeling hes off the right side of mountain hwy as you go through the spur ...a little golf would thread the needle through the trees with some luck and 16 minutes after the grand thats where you are...he couldn't really be missing up myers creek road and the car would have been found had he gone into Donnellys weir .....i really do have this feeling here old mate knows just how dense that bush is a car would fully disappear especially a small one

But also that harder road you can't really pull out too many vehicles and stuff and start searching because you know stolen dumps from Melbourne and might get too many in the mix to find who you're looking for

Is the safety line a a small anchor on a chain that you can carry through to the boat sink it get snorkels down and pull yourself down to hook it in

And if you travel a lot you'll realise you turn off your phone because it takes too much battery use because of keeping up with the signals have to go up higher to even get through to have enough battery when you need to use it

Healesville to Alexander is the opposite side of Mansfield on the lake Eildon Mansfield to howeua caravan park it's a rough track you can keep on going through two Marysville you can take the wrong turn end up at heyfild off from Marysville down the track road to Warburton the end up down at Moe on princrs Hwy up the coast road down to SydneyOr back to Melbourne

When you know those windy roads well a 2-minute drive can feel like you've actually done 8 hours and it can reverse that you've done 8 hours down the road that's 2 minutes and on those Willy why do you Rhodes your petrol gauge doesn't always calculate the same either because of the altitude and wide when it lifts in backs on your tank because you can be a good driving and like enjoying it and you can say how did my tank even calculate going that far it's only in 85 litre

Yeah looks calm but it's a very dangerous river in a kayak because that current can sweep you on your tail goes into a stick and then you upside down you don't want to lose your equipment maybe you should just be camping back relaxing together on what he would have done and what he would have explored what have you been in an area you're looking at a over a bridge where it's needle in a haystack all everyone looking for their needle on a haystack you've got Arna me down Under I've camp these it and f****** climbed mountains from Hotham down of feather top and and all through these Morton parks it's all the needle in a haystack these days
