My late great grandma used to grow a lot of this salak tree in her backyard since i was a kid..i think she has like around 50 or even more tree.. She died in 2015.. but her salak tree still alive in her backyard.. now no one care about that tree anymore..😢😢

i dont remember how it tastes since it's been so long since ive tried it in my childhood but i know it tastes so good bcos this is my fav fruit back then.. plus, it is not a seasonal fruit so i can eat this almost every day but now the tree has stopped giving fruits that's why i have not eaten it for a long time now :((
