He is a man who loves monsters and he has brought that love to the mainstream cinema, thrilling and challenging audiences around the world from Cronos to The Devil's Backbone to Pan's Labyrinth, the Hellboy films, Pacific Rim, and now, Crimson Peak. He talks to David Poland for an hour about his films and his evolution. This is the second half of that conversation.

I hope At The Mountains of Madness happens one day. It's about time we had a Lovecraft movie adaptation and del Toro is the director to do it.

Around 24:00 he said something about the coens I did not quite catch (english is not my first language tho) could somebody explain?

+Vincent Knight Guillermo talks about how much he talks with the Coen brothers, and the interviewer jokingly said: "so the Coens talked to somebody?" as a reference to how little they talk with the press. Guillermo then says that when you start talking about a movie then you talk about another one and another one until you end up talking about cinema itself, and that's kinda how he talks with the Coens.
