Here is my complete updated guide to Welt! His delays are invaluable and provide a niche that stays relevant even in 2.1 with Acheron Welt. I go through Welt's best builds, relics, planar ornaments, light cones, and explain how his delay works and why it makes him a sustain help despite being a DPS. His build includes 2.0 relics and the new 2.1 planars as well as Acheron's best Light Cone. Welt Acheron may a strong but high investment duo that helps out her problems, and Gallagher and Aventurine may be cool with him too. I also go through more synergies since his last guide. WELTBA HERE, ANY OG WELT ENJOYERS? NOTES: 1) To anyone running Wind, full HP SPD, Vonwacq etc. Welt that should work as a pure sustain build :) There shouldn't be a problem with going it, I just think if you can build him with DPS stats at the same time why not go for a hybrid sustain DPS build with best of both worlds ^^ So that's my recommendation for pseudo sustain welt, but it doesn't mean you can't run full sustain if it works. (I've also been informed that @Sidereum is a Welt Sustain enthusiast, go check him out if you wanna see more of Welt Sustain. He prefers Wind Set from what I know, two different takes :D) 2) The Endgame stat goal may be overestimated by accident, 60/120 is a fairer goal (still not easy), with 70/140 being achieveable with buffs from sets :). Sorry for that, but at least I have my warning about goals not being mandatory there for those worrying.

I've sacrificed(lost) Argenti and Jingliu for E2 Welt and he better be good😭 Nah, just kidding. Tho I am a bit salty that I lost, losing them to Welt isn't so bad as he is still strong in my account. He is my very first 5 star and carried me till the end of Xianzhou.

it's my least favorite cause they keep making new niche teams like for DOT or debuffs that you need to build and farm around to make them work instead of someone like Jingliu that can just make use of almost anyone. They are also the only reason why effect hit rate exists which makes grinding for gear harder than it has to be.

@@zaregotoch.8491not sure why you would dislike them? They all are really good and they aren’t all DoT focused. Its the Debuff path, and Welt, SW, Pela, Luka, and BS all have forms of amplifying Dmg received by enemies through either Def Shread, Dmg Taken Modifiers, or both. Not sure why you would hate it … or compare it with Jingliu who SHOULDN’T be used in every team comp. She’s way less universal than Blade or even Clara. Prioritizing high HP teams is her bread and butter, if not Hypercarry. Compare that to Silverwolf who’s whole job is literally being the most universal character by giving enemies type weaknesses, def shread, and debuffs, and your team has a nice support that can be used in any situation I’d give them another chance if I were you. Really diving into their kits reveals they aren’t just DoT dps’ and the path is Genuinely overpowered if invested in

they coudlve separated debuff nihility and dot nilihity to a new path. like dot could be propagation. acheron fits destruction, i think, or like a path for specialists, maybe enigmata. hopefully the other paths cohld be playable.

My favourite part about welt is how universal he is. Hypercarry? He's on the job. Dual dps? No problem. Pseudo sustain? Just another day at the office. He works decently into both ST and aoe content too. And while he does have his synergies, his kit is so flexible that theres very few characters he cant work with(dont use him with clara) He's my go-to dps on days where i dont like reading and thinking, which is everyday.

@@guobacertified you're basically correct. the unique power he debuts in his original outing is the ability to create anything from nothing, so long as one fully understands its composition. because of this he describes his specific ability as "a mindset," which also explains a lot of his behavior throughout hsr and i think it is really neat :)

Newer viewer of your channel and I can't tell you how much I love the "Stat Goal" portion. Knowing what main stats & substats are preferred/general ranking of importance can be helpful, but having specific stat page that list an "ideal" helps me figure out what I need to prioritize when improving my established builds. Just wanted to point that out and thank you for it :D

Welt has been my trickiest character to build. You really need to decide what you want from him and go for it (unless you farm multiple sets for him). I decided to go for a full on pysdo sustain/debuff route. I definitely went over kill with the EHR (85%) but he still does decent damage considering I didn't build him specifically for damage (20-40k on skill and ult depending on how many enemies are on the field and crit). I will say I'm happy they've been adding characters that work with Welt though. When I first got him I wanted to build him but was frustrated since I had better DPS to use and really didn't see great returns on debuffs with him. Now I can work him into teams easier and Ruan Mei was a game changer for his kit.

Pela sw would be higher damage but welt is better for survivability, and he can be even higher damage than pela sw if you run pela sustain welt + harmony :)

This is great. I've got e2 Welt (through missing both Kafka and Topaz 😆) and had little idea what to do with him. Good to know it's because he is so versatile 👍🏻 I'm already farming the debuff/break cavern, so might as well add him to the list for a new set. Since I have most of the other imaginary units, his initial set was plundered more than once 😆

I was lucky enough to get E2 SW on her rerun so i cannot wait to run a fully dps welt with her and acheron while ALSO being able to use him as sustain because of the eff res decrease (and him being e2!). Welt honestly opens up so many fun teams for acheron, I'm so glad I invested into him. Only now I'm faced with the predicament of wanting not one but two of acheron's lightcone....

Welt is the character I've wanted most since day one and still haven't pulled him. Game even pulled a fast one on me when I saw nihility icon when pulling a 5-star on standard banner, but it was his light cone... Almost at 300 pulls though, so the magic man will be mine soon enough!
