Very informative video. Morton's neuroma is really a problem and 50% of patients who undergo surgery for Neuroma may regret it. Pain can even be worse than the original neuroma.

Very informative and a great way of reusing a pad to temporarily get relief

I developed a neuroma (based on the available information online) very suddenly and it is quite painful. I stumbled (pun intended) onto your video, Dr. Runkel, and followed it (well, sort of) and the "day after" my foot is much, much better! I used the wrap but since it was late last night I used a circular callus cushion placing same under the ball of the foot and wrapping accordingly. I took an Alka Selzer "cold plus" (my drug of choice) for pain. Today it's "all better" and I can walk! I suspect the causality to be walking in loose pea gravel with tennis shoes as that is the only "new activity" I had. Regardless, thank you so much for the Secret TIP! ;-)

These pads can sometimes be found at your local drugstore, but you can definitely get them at any podiatrists office!

I am an orthotist that makes orthotics for people and this is a really great explanation of the cause. I also have a neuroma that I have not been able to resolve through orthotic means, but I will try the taping. I am curious what type of modifications you have in that Footmaxx Orthotic?

def. going to try to make this. I had the surgery and the pain is gone but I can now feel the nerve on ball of foot bulging when I walk. The nerve was removed between 3,4 toe but I am afraid will get one on ball of foot too. Thanks for the video.

What an awesome video. I have just been diagnosed with Morton's Neuroma...during my recovery from a Jones Fracture...great timing, huh? Anyway, my Podiatrist was less than helpful and I had to suggest an orthotic metatarsal pad from what I learned on the internet. This is a wonderful suggestion and I am doing this...and calf stretches, which may also be a contributing factor to Morton's Neuroma's. (particularly for my situation with a 3 1/2 month atrophy from non-weight bearing cast). Thanks and I am hoping this saves me from surgery.
