Brain health expert, Dr. Daniel Amen, makes a powerful case for preventative living through healthy habits. In a time where bodies are expanding and brains are shrinking, he calls this game-changing lifestyle The Brain Warrior’s Way.
Dr. Daniel Amen’s plan focuses on diet and exercise and delivers results in not only physical but also scientific proof. In a series of images, Amen shows several shrunken brains that, with a proper lifestyle, expand to a healthier mass in a matter of months.

Since year 2000 suffering, visiting during 10 years doctors until 2010, when I read several of your books, I walked with a cane, I got to take benzodiazepines 18mg / day, ibuprofen 1800mg and omeprazole, I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia, I was diagnosed to operate both knees. Thanks to your advices, I changed my life habits to heal. After 2011 to 2013 I have healed and I do not take medicines until today that I am 71 years old. Thanks Dr. Daniel Amen.

Beautiful...subjective symptom clusters used rather than delivering medical information derived objectively. I have always had a disagreement with psychiatry diagnosing their patients using subjective questions to determine what "drug" to administer so as to alleviate the symptoms rather than discovering the cause of the problem.

Can I just say I am a live in carer. I have been working with many people with dementia. I see what they eat and I ask their families about their lives before this point. My finding is that one of the biggest culprits is they drink a lot of tea. The strongest the tea, the worst dementia. I am talking about Lipton tea mostly. Madeira tea is even stronger. Of course stress can add to the condition. Many of these people were leaders of companies. Life style also like drinking alcohol, coke. Poor food choices. To me Tea is the top. Scientists, doctors don't know how these people live. Carers are the best to see that. Thank you.

Perhaps it’s not the Tea but rather the toxins/chemicals the tea leaves have been doused in? Or the sugar they add? I would think that England, with its huge population of tea drinkers would be leading the way in dementia, if indeed its the actual tea?

This guys amazing. I have a huge concern myself. Was attacked by a heroine addict from behind with a claw hammer 20 years ago. Embedded the hammer deep through my skull and I only survived because it broke through where the three bones formed the back so it was much stronger there. I can feel the thing always. The doctor said then that I would get MS later in life and I have the fractured bones pressing down into my brain. So anyway, this is key to me. I am going to follow this guys recommendations thoroughly. Hope you do too.

@@jamesbarratt593 I was knocked unconscious a few in my life - once I was knocked out when the "boom" of a sailboat swung around and slammed into my forehead - I was almost thrown from the boat and was unconscious for quite a while, until they got me back to the pier. Another time, I fell down a flight of stairs. I'm going to take this advice seriously!

Hmmm but still, you know I wonder if we can even prevent anything? If somehow life just doesn’t give us these things and there’s not a damn bit of anything we can do to prevent it. That boom knocking you out. Where were you. Deep out to sea or near land? Shocking those booms. Super fast when they come about.

@@jamesbarratt593 I was in the Texas gulf, on a friend of a friend's new boat and he had no idea what he was doing. He said, "here, hold this rope" and I did, and then looked up to see the boom coming at my head. It was my first time ever on a sailboat. Accidents are not always preventable. I can still hear the crack, like a bat hitting a baseball - that's how it sounded. We can do the best we can, and care for our health, knowing what we know and what we learn.
