Yes he did & he actually wrote the hook for Snoop (that's why Eminem is rapping in that high ass tone in the hook) but Dre liked the way Eminem sounded on it so he got the feature instead & Eminem wrote a few other songs for Dre & Jay Z wrote the other hit single for this album "Still Dre" it's crazy cuz u can here Eminems flow in Dres verses in this track & u can hear Jays flow in Still Dre

Back in the day when Dre left Death Row and started his own record label Aftermath he was doing a lot less performance and more writing and production. Because of that some fans and foolish young rappers said Dre "Fell Off" that he couldn't cut it in the rap game anymore. But it was all Bullshit because he was discovering a ton of amazing artists who are now bonafide legends and producing some of the best albums out there.

Dre's talking directly to Suge Knight in this song (written by Eminem) cuz Suge literally went to war with Dre & Aftermath just to steal Eminem away from him at this time period so he could sign him to Death Row & this is while Suge was still in prison but he still had tons of goons on his payroll doing his bidding & handling his business until he got out in 2001!!!! This was the millennium era war between Death Row(aka Tha Row)/Murder Inc(aka Tha Inc)/The Source Magazine all ganged up to try & take Aftermath/Shady/G-Unit down between (1999-2004) !!!! "The Inc" even tried to recruit NaS against Dre & Em (watch the video The Pledge by Ja Rule) but it didn't work cuz NaS almost signed wit Dre back in 96 & they made some bangers together back then right after Dre left Death Row & pissed Suge off !!!! Fortunately no famous rappers got killed other than Bugs from D12 & allegedly Proof from D12 (Eminems group) might of gotten shot over it but its not proven but a whole lot of extended members of all they're enterages especially Tha Row & The Inc sure as hell got shot & killed along wit a few bloods & crips that were affiliated with both sides & its crazy nobody ever talks about that!!! Just ask Crooked I , he knows cuz his was on Tha Row roster rivaling these guys before he switched sides & joined Eminems camp!!!! Em & Snoop & Dre had to stay in bulletproof vests long before Em ever signed 50 cent !!! Theres alot of interviews about all of it💯
