Excellent interview. I really appreciate his mention of the African American diet and how our past is still killing us today. I bring this up to my AA friends and sadly, the most common reply I get is, "So, it still tastes good." I am watching them in and out of the hospital on Facebook every week and they go right back to posting pictures, glorifying what put them there. With regard to education, at the school I work for, they had pulled (pink) pork at our final teacher's meeting of the year. The guys serving it were morbidly obese. There were neither any options for vegetarians nor vegans. So sad to see. It's the food, people. How can they NOT see this? The whole county glorifies Chick-Fil-A as if it's a God. I hope that some of the stuff I mention in my biological sciences courses gets through to my students. I love them all dearly and hate to see the American School system serving extra SAD food to them and their staff. In fact, it's not even food in my view.

I work in a school too, and I'm the only vegan. I have made a small impact on some of my co-workers though. One has type 2 diabetes, and she has incorporated more fruits & veggies in her diet. I don't think she'll ever stop eating meat because she's extremely picky, but she actually snacks on apples, carrots, strawberries and such. My principal who recently lost her mom and dad three months apart told me that she's going to try to cut out meat. Both her parents suffered greatly from stage 4 kidney disease, liver disease, diabetes, high cholesterol, - you name it, they had it. Two other co-workers have dropped dairy because they have allergic reactions to it, so they are now using dairy-free everything. One of them said to me, "maybe we're just not meat to have cow's milk!" I said, no kidding, Sherlock! Lol. But you're right about the lunches served to kids though, it's so sad!

Kudos to this awesome doctor and his wife for becoming vegan 👏 It's a mystery why this channel doesn't have a higher viewership. Great interview 👍 Currently I'm in midway 0:36:55 I forced myself to watch those difficult videos. I was an "ethical" vegetarian at the time who ate plenty of cheese, sometimes eggs and on special family gatherings like Christmas, new year etc would eat seafood but not fish because fish have a face. Anyhow, I forced myself to watch those videos, sobbing the whole time, so much so that my husband tried to take away the laptop to protect me. But I wouldn't let him, I knew it was something I had to bear witness to. I would not turn away. Now I am vegan, and I don't watch those things anymore because I am vegan, not plant based. The connection was made deeply for me when I refused to turn away. Vegan for life ❤ May All Beings be Happy May All Beings be Healthy May All Beings be Peaceful And May All Beings Live with Ease 🙏

The same here. We watched Earthlings 2011 and made the connection. It was distressing and isolating. No one else interested to know the truth. Knew what not to eat or wear but fortunately discovered Dr. Greger and his daily dozen app 2016 which helped us enormously. We're vegan for the animals but we can confidentially talk to people about the ethics, the health or the environment depending upon where someone is at. I wish more people would be open to investigate.

0:42:20 Oh yes Eat meat to get rid of anemia because when I used to eat meat at every meal, I was anemic. Yes, I ate lamb, beef, chicken, fish, seafood, and lots of it. It wasn't until going vegan , eating whole foods with lots of leafy greens at lunch and dinner that the anemia went away as per my blood work and doctor's declaration. In fact, every single person I know who is anemic eats plenty of meat. Eating meat to reverse anemia is a fallacy.

The opposite happened to me… I became vegan at 17. Lots of greens, fruits, nuts and seeds. Felt AMAZING at first, but then became anemic. Added more peas and beans but started having to supplement Bs, D, and minerals. Over time my hair started to get thinner, so I started supplementing protein. Then I started getting plantar fasciitis and lots of pain in my joints so I started eliminating high oxalate foods. This has brought me back to meat. I’m here to see if I’m overlooking something I should try to find balance without meat…

@@TheFizziologieNetwork all the problems you mentioned happen to people who aren't vegan too and eat meat. I know many meat eaters with those same issues. @@TheFizziologieNetwork Do a search for Grant Genereux, and read his free ebooks. If you have an oxalate issue, you may also have a problem with hypervitaminosis A. Spinach, carrots, and sweet potatoes are high in beta carotene, in addition to oxalate. In excess, both deplete minerals out of our bones. It's important to eat enough calories, whether you stay vegan or decide to include some meat, fish, and eggs.

In the example with the 4 years old with high creatinine could this not be related to increased creatine from the meat combined with the excessive meat intake overall, that is enough meat to give150g protein - excessive for a 4 year old. This would raise the creatinine levels but would not suggest kidney disease. You often see this with people supplementing with creatine where creatinine levels rise and this needs to be noted in any renal studies so as not to make an incorrect diagnosis of kidney disease.

0:45:50 yes, raising children plant based has to be a thoughtful process. They are growing, require more fats, he made a great point too, that they have smaller bellies and they need good quality snacks to make sure they get all the essential nutrients . giving kids nuts and seeds is essential, along with all the vegetables fruits and grains. Those are far superior sources of fats to cooking oils. But the processed vegan meats and cheese aren't great, they're junk food, ok for a rare treat. Whole Foods excellent 👌

I wish all the protein obsessed people would watch this interview! Dr.Doug Graham pointed out our low need for proteins in his book about the 80/10/10 diet many years ago. We don't need any more protein than is in human mother's milk - which is less than 10 percent of our total calorie consumption (more like 6%). He points out that the longest lived peoples in the world who live longer than those in "blue zones" (Hunzas, Vilcabambans, Abkhasians ) all eat less than 10 percent protein. The kidneys are needed to filter out the wastes from our 100 trillion cells from the lymphatic system out of the body into our urine. That is why they are important and no one should EVER donate a kidney! Without both kidneys to filter out those wastes out of both sides of the body, they will build up! The lymphatic system's clear or white liquid is part of the immune system and is 5x larger than the blood! We need a way to continually empty it. The kidneys do that for us. One kidney is not enough. He is wrong about humans being herbivores. Herbivores eat grass! Cows and horses are herbivores. He needs to watch Dr. Michael Greger's videos on the fact that humans are FRUGIVORES and there is "no such thing as too much fruit" and "Paleopoo". Our GI tracts are identical to Gorillas NOT horses. Our teeth are like gorillas not horses. What more evidence does he and all the other vegan medical doctors who say we are herbivores need?

@VeganLinked
@VeganLinked 5 ай бұрын
Meat has oxalates. Obviously oxalates are not a problem in a vegan diet. I have long time and lifelong vegans on my channel including myself having zero problems with oxalates. You need to be more concerned about eating animals and uric acid. There is no science showing that eating a whole Food plant-based diet is going to give you issues with oxalates. You should be more worried about purines in meat increasing uric acid levels. If you're worried about oxalates and plants then, since they are water soluble, simply Cook your f****** food; steam, boil, or blanching. Or soak your food. Or increase your consumption of plant foods high in calcium. You might want to also consider the fact that people going to the nephrologist aren't even f****** vegans, their people eating animals 99.99% of the time at least, you might want to also stay away from things like soda. Stay hydrated, or eat lots of fruit. Or wise up and learn how to eat a proper whole food plant-based diet of legumes, greens, grains, fruits, veggies, mushrooms, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices and don't think about it like we don't because it's not an issue. I have a video on nutrient density with the pinned comment having more information on so-called anti-nutrients If you want to learn more or actually look at the science. But at the end of the day it doesn't even f****** matter because it's not an issue for people who know how to eat whole plant foods properly and live otherwise healthy.

Are you talking about veganism? The has pretty ancient roots but the term was only coined in the '40s. Nonetheless there are over 100 million vegans and 1.5 billion vegetarians many of which are going vegan. I suppose you can call it an opposite world. You hope that it works, no need to hope cuz it does. I have many long time and lifelong vegans my channel demonstrating this. And the totality of evidence supports it. The leading health organizations state that it is healthy and appropriate for every stage of life and even protective against chronic disease and all cause mortality. They also state that eating animals increases risk for chronic disease and all cause mortality. So it's definitely working out.
@VeganLinked
@VeganLinked 4 ай бұрын
And not only does it work out for us when we choose a well-planned way of eating that is vegan, it also works out for all of the animals, the workers who don't have to do the most violent jobs, the communities that don't have to deal with concentrated animal feeding operation anaerobic lagoons being toxic, and unlike animal agriculture it doesn't create zoonotic diseases that kills millions of people, isn't the leading cause of deforestation, desertification, aquatic dead zones, antibiotic resistant bacteria, etc so it works out for everyone and every way imaginable to be vegan. And not being vegan doesn't work out for really anyone in every way imaginable. That because people have an infantile habituation to consuming body parts, organs. And people have a hard time with change. But those that care and endure the learning curve and embrace this simple, beautiful, non-violent philosophy say it's the best thing they've ever done.

@@vikkiprevette2934 you'll never need to be worried about sugar or oxalates if you're eating properly. So you eat legumes, greens, grains, fruits, veggies, mushrooms, nuts, seeds, herbs and spices in a variety of each in a well-planned manner. But this is so simple. Like I eat a mixed whole grain berry porridge most mornings, then I make a big salad with anything from black beans to kidney beans or chickpeas or quinoa or whatever I might throw on top of mixed greens or a bed of romaine, and I might throw in some artichokes or beets or peppers or whatever I have in the fridge on a given day for toppings and usually various seeds like hemp seeds, sunflower seeds, pumpkin seeds, etc and plenty of herbs and spices and if I have a avocado in the mix I might put some turmeric and fresh ground black pepper and I also like to add dulce or kelp granules to most of my meals except for the porridge. I also like split pea soup or curries or Japanese sweet potatoes I mean there's just tens if not hundreds of thousands of options out there. I've been toying around with soy lately but not a lot but just enough to say I have. So I've been using tofu, edamame, horse or tempeh from time to time. If I have a snack it's a banana or an apple or some carrots. I tend to eat at least a couple of different fruits throughout the day. And I usually add dates to my porridge as well as things like Ceylon cinnamon, fresh ground clove, fresh ground flaxseed, organic dark chocolate, sometimes a little pumpkin, sometimes a little nut butter, I've been flipping my routine around where some mornings I might not have breakfast or some days I might not have dinner or I have breakfast for dinner and dinner for breakfast. My life is pretty hectic though so my schedule isn't very consistent but I typically don't eat after 6:00 ever and for the longest time I wasn't really hungry until about 10:00 but here lately I would rather eat earlier and stop eating earlier.

@@vikkiprevette2934 The sugars and fruits are not a problem when you're eating a whole food. And when you're eating a whole food diet then things like grains blunt the glycemic load of fruit. But you could even start the day off with some fruit especially if you haven't eaten long enough to the point that your glycogen stores have been depleted. Really fruit is fantastic there's nothing wrong with it unless you have insulin resistance from eating animal fat for example. Why in the world would you be afraid of oxalates? I mean you would have to mono meal some serious dosage of spinach which would be ridiculous. If you're worried about oxalates then get baby leaves and cook them lightly. But eat alkaline whole plant foods and you're not going to have a problem with oxalates probably

Glad this is working for you and a select population that can follow a healthy whole food plant based diet. It is very difficult to get nutrients especially for kids. As a PT for 36 years I am seeing increased fractures in kids, obesity and diabetes. These kids are not consuming quality meat. The SAD diet is infact mostly plant based. I’m very concerned with kids growing up on vegan diets especially if given spinach smoothies and almond milk not developing good bone mass and having early osteoporosis! A trend I am seeing in younger women with the push for “healthy “ green smoothies. FYI I got to be part of this group. Very veggie and nut/seed and sweet potatoe heavy healthy whole food diet no refined sugar or processed foods resulted in osteoporosis in lumbar spine at 52. Always and athlete never overweight I had autoimmune disorders but felt good on a veggie dominant paleo diet. However osteoporosis people don’t feel until they start to fracture. Glad I had a routine scan at 52 to find this out. So upped the plants even more and medical grade supplements. Following all functional medicine microbiome etc. protocols. Two years later, no difference in the scan. Research more about oxalate effects from plants did my own N of 1 experiment with the carnivore diet and two years later, the DEXA scan showed 9.4% improvement in the lumbar spine and 16% improvement and my hip. And now at a month of 60 I no longer have osteoporosis. So it was very counterintuitive and difficult for me to remove all the great vegetables in my diet the nuts in the seeds for my particular body this is what is healing for me, and several of the other patients that I’ve worked with have not drive on a purely a diet. So I just encourage people to be mindful to monitor how they feel do lab work and understand that lab work as a little bit of higher cholesterol as we age is a good thing for hormone balance, including vitamin D conversion from cholesterol. The latest studies do not show that higher cholesterol is problem if ratios and triglycerides are good. For those of you that have had your children grow up plant base especially if they’ve been heavy and spinach and very high oxalate food I would encourage you to get them to have a DEXA scan done by 25 as well as their hormone levels, especially if they have menstrual pain issues. I have also found plant base individuals having more polycystic ovary syndrome and infertility but then again there is a lot of junk food vegetarianism out there. And I find that the process plant base meat products are going to be very toxic. And if you don’t want to eat meat products, why would you want something? Fashioned into a meatball or hamburger that is not real food. Just eat your Whole Foods. Oh, like the Earth provides you. Best of health to each individual. We are unique just don’t be afraid to find your individual path that works best for you. Also, a note animal welfare. Regenerative ranching is very kind to the animals and at the end it’s done very humanly. However, in agriculture, millions of small animals are slaughtered in a very atrocious way by the machines at harvest grains, and the pesticides and chemicals used in agriculture are dumping toxins into our rivers and oceans, where millions of fish are being polluted and actually die ongoing. And as far as ozone layer goes the amount of vegetable and fruit products that are thrown away in our dumps, create more greenhouse, gases, and do cattle. And again regenerate to branching done well put carbon back into the soil out of the environment where it should be an actually grows more nutrient dense plants and grasses that provide Oxygen to the environment and nutrients to the ruminant animals that eat them it’s a natural cycle and no small animals are killed while 1 cow can provide 100s of meals and utilizing the hide for your car seats that won’t off gas toxins might be or is a very good thing. Try reading the book “Sacred Cow” after watching your forks over knives. You may find the were not well informed after all 😮🤷‍♀️

Nothing you said has any relevance to veganism. Next time try a well planned vegan diet and consult with someone like Dr Esser (lifelong vegan) non-operative sports and spine physician that works with Sports & Spine Physician with Heekin Orthopedics The SAD diet that people are eating mostly even with plant when it is processed is tainted with dairy and eggs. That's why it has been so hard for vegans to find alternatives for so many years until very recently. But this has zero relevance to veganism. The most vegan way to eat is the healthiest way because after all humans are animals, and vegans care about animals. And this role models optimum health that inspires others to do the same and make it more sustainable and consequently save more animals. Whole plant foods (not processed) are also the least resource intensive and least packaged and therefore least invasive to wild life/animals. Your n of 1 is out of control. nothing you mentioned has any relevance to a well planned vegan diet. Veggie Paleo? Any number of things could have been changing your bone density. Did you consult a lifestyle medicine practitioner? There are plenty of vegan athletes out there, longtime and lifelong vegans with zero problems. And the science supports a well planned vegan diet (not whatever you were doing) for every stage of life being healthy and appropriate. And your tangent about farming is just more evidence you are clueless. Obviously it's completely unsustainable to eat animals which is why there's over 200,000 concentrated animal feeding operations in the US alone. Animal agriculture results in 20 percent global food intake while using more land and resources. Your humane fairytale is a lie just like your misleading n of 1 irrelevant health journey.

I wish soy products was easier to find in my area, but the flack against soy is causing stores to stop offering it. When I was a baby in the 60's I got very sick and was not growing. Parents took me to several doctors then one doctor straight out of med school... our area's first female doctor at a time when that was controversial said oh it's lactose intolerance stop the cow's milk and give soy formula. My parents had no idea baby formula even existed and didn't know what soy was. They gave me Similac Soy and it basically saved my life. I drank it till I was 6 yrs old and it just got too expensive. I still remembered the taste and was nostalgic for it so started drinking soy milk and like it better than cow's but now suddenly stores are cutting back on the selection of soy. Like they will carry one brand and one kind because of the misconception that it raises estrogen. I found an old medical book that explained how it doesn't raise estrogen in men or women. It actually blocks the most harmful form of estrogen from binding to the receptors. I was vacationing and had this most incredible tofu chop suey at a Chinese restaurant and wish soy food wasn't so hard to find these days.

@@bigfletch8 Nature makes no moral prescriptions. What has how many species eating a specific way got to do with humans eating a specific way? We aren't carnivorous animals. It's not even worth debating because it's obvious we aren't, but these two are very critical points to consider; all carnivores synthesise their own vit C and cannot produce amylase enzymes because they didn't evolve eating significant amounts of plants like we did. We have to eat vit C and we produce the carb digesting amylase enzymes found in species that thrive on plants. You're appealing to nature which is a logical fallacy. We don't care what other species do, we aren't them nor do they have life goals we do. We don't even care about appealing to tradition as a fallacy because what our ancestors did also doesn't matter since they had totally different goals as us. They didn't live very long and only had the goal to live long enough to reproduce, there's no relationship between an organism and a long healthy life in nature. That's even evident via the fact captive animals fed planned, nutritionally adequate diets live far longer than wild counterparts, let alone even the most diseased developed human populations living far longer on average than our ancient hunter gatherer ancestors.

Numerous scientific studies have provided evidence supporting the idea that a plant-based diet can contribute to a lower risk of heart disease. The Adventist Health Study-2, which included a large population of Seventh-day Adventists, found that individuals following a vegetarian diet (including both lacto-ovo vegetarians and vegans) had a lower risk of developing coronary heart disease compared to non-vegetarians. The study highlighted the protective effects of plant-based diets. EPIC-Oxford Study: The EPIC-Oxford study, part of the European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition, examined the diets and health outcomes of over 65,000 participants. It found that vegetarians had a significantly lower risk of coronary heart disease compared to meat-eaters. Nurses' Health Study and Health Professionals Follow-Up Study: These long-term cohort studies in the United States involved over 200,000 participants. They found that a higher intake of plant-based foods, such as fruits, vegetables, and whole grains, was associated with a lower risk of coronary heart disease. The emphasis on plant-based sources of protein was particularly noteworthy. Interheart Study: The Interheart Study, a global case-control study, investigated risk factors for acute myocardial infarction (heart attack) in various populations. It found that a high intake of fruits and vegetables was associated with a lower risk of heart attack, emphasizing the cardiovascular benefits of plant-based foods. Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension (DASH) Trial: While not exclusively plant-based it can be done vegan, the DASH diet emphasizes fruits, vegetables, whole grains, and low-fat dairy. The DASH trial demonstrated that this dietary pattern can significantly lower blood pressure, a key risk factor for heart disease. Meta-analyses and Reviews: Several meta-analyses and systematic reviews have summarized the existing evidence on plant-based diets and cardiovascular health. These analyses consistently suggest that plant-based diets are associated with a lower risk of heart disease, including a reduction in blood pressure, cholesterol levels, and inflammation.

While we see research supporting a plant-based diet as protective against chronic disease and all cause mortality we see the opposite for eating animals. Here are a few studies you might find relevant: 1. It suggested that higher consumption of these meats may be associated with an increased risk of developing prostate cancer. 2. "Dairy products, calcium, and prostate cancer risk: A systematic review and meta-analysis of cohort studies"** - This systematic review and meta-analysis, published in the American Journal of Clinical Nutrition in 2015, examined the association between dairy product consumption, calcium intake, and prostate cancer risk. It concluded that high intake of dairy products and calcium may be associated with an increased risk of prostate cancer. 3. "Egg consumption and risk of prostate cancer: A dose-response meta-analysis of prospective cohort studies"** - Published in the British Journal of Nutrition in 2016, this meta-analysis investigated the association between egg consumption and prostate cancer risk. It suggested that higher egg consumption may be associated with an increased risk of prostate cancer. These studies provide valuable insights into the potential relationship between the consumption of meat, dairy, eggs, and the risk of prostate cancer. Here are a few more studies that demonstrate the correlation between higher meat consumption and increased health risks: 4. The European Prospective Investigation into Cancer and Nutrition (EPIC): This large-scale study followed over half a million participants from ten European countries for an average of 12.7 years. It found that higher intake of red and processed meats was associated with an elevated risk of mortality from all causes, particularly cardiovascular diseases and cancer. The study emphasized the importance of reducing meat consumption and replacing it with plant-based foods for overall health benefits. 5. The Health Professionals Follow-up Study and Nurses' Health Study II: These long-term cohort studies followed over 120,000 men and women in the United States for up to 28 years. They consistently showed that higher consumption of red meat, especially processed red meat, was associated with an increased risk of mortality from cardiovascular disease, cancer, and other causes. The findings underscored the importance of dietary choices in preventing chronic diseases and promoting longevity. 6. The Multiethnic Cohort Study: This prospective study included over 215,000 participants from Hawaii and California, representing various ethnic groups. It found that higher intake of red and processed meats was associated with an elevated risk of colorectal cancer, particularly among men. The study highlighted the need for population-wide strategies to reduce meat consumption and promote healthier dietary patterns to mitigate cancer risk. These studies provide further evidence of the dose-response relationship between meat consumption and health outcomes, demonstrating that as meat intake increases, so does the risk of various chronic diseases and mortality. 7. The Nurses' Health Study and Health Professionals Follow-up Study: These long-term studies followed over 100,000 participants for several decades. They found that higher consumption of red meat, particularly processed red meat, was associated with an increased risk of heart disease, cancer (especially colorectal cancer), and type 2 diabetes. The findings emphasized the importance of substituting healthier protein sources, like nuts, legumes. 8. The EPIC-Oxford Study: This large prospective study examined the diets and health outcomes of over 65,000 people in the United Kingdom. It found that vegetarians had a lower risk of developing coronary heart disease, certain cancers (such as colorectal and breast cancer), and type 2 diabetes compared to meat-eaters. The study also highlighted that the risk increased with higher consumption of red and processed meats. 9. The World Cancer Research Fund/American Institute for Cancer Research (WCRF/AICR) Continuous Update Project This ongoing project analyzes and synthesizes global research on diet, nutrition, physical activity, and cancer prevention. It has consistently found strong evidence linking high consumption of red and processed meats to an increased risk of colorectal cancer. The project recommends limiting the intake of red meat and avoiding processed meats to reduce cancer risk.

These studies provide robust evidence supporting the association between high meat consumption, especially red and processed meats, and various health risks. 10. Cardiometabolic Risk Factors: Reference: Micha R, Peñalvo JL, Cudhea F, et al. Association Between Dietary Factors and Mortality From Heart Disease, Stroke, and Type 2 Diabetes. JAMA. 2017;317(9):912-924. Findings: This study linked high consumption of processed meats to an increased risk of mortality from heart disease, stroke, and type 2 diabetes. 11. Type 2 Diabetes: Reference: Pan A, Sun Q, Bernstein AM, et al. Red meat consumption and risk of type 2 diabetes: 3 cohorts of US adults and an updated meta-analysis. Am J Clin Nutr. 2011;94(4):1088-1096. Findings: This study found an association between higher red meat consumption and an increased risk of type 2 diabetes. 12. Colorectal Cancer: Reference: World Health Organization. IARC Monographs evaluate consumption of red meat and processed meat. Press Release. 2015. Findings: The International Agency for Research on Cancer (IARC), part of the World Health Organization, classified processed meat as Group 1, meaning there is sufficient evidence to conclude that it causes colorectal cancer. Red meat was classified as Group 2A, meaning it is probably carcinogenic to humans. 13. Cardiovascular Disease: Reference: Micha R, Wallace SK, Mozaffarian D. Red and processed meat consumption and risk of incident coronary heart disease, stroke, and diabetes mellitus: a systematic review and meta-analysis. Circulation. 2010;121(21):2271-2283. Findings: This meta-analysis suggested that higher intake of red and processed meat is associated with an increased risk of coronary heart disease. Furthermore eating animals results in the most violent jobs, the most atrocious living circumstances for animals including violently slaughtering them, the most invasive and destructive industry that causes deforestation, desertification, concentration feeding operations (200,000 of which are in the US alone) that are toxic to surrounding communities, result in aquatic dead zones, zoonotic diseases, antibiotic resistant bacteria, tainting water, air, and soil with anaerobic lagoons spewing ammonia, hydrogen sulfide, pathogens, all while being gravely inefficient as it only results in 20% global food intake yet uses 80% of agricultural land. Meanwhile China owns Smithfield so the US is essentially becoming a cesspool of pig and chicken feces, all so people can continue business as usual with their infantile habituated, vile and sadistic, outdated, behaviors that insidiously increase your risk for chronic disease and all cause mortality with yet another death-based, fad diet that's essentially a last ditch effort after the failed weight watchers, Atkins, Paleo, failing keto that ranks lower than a whole list of plant-based diets like Mediterranean. Eating animals is just dumb, deadly and destructive at this point. This is all why all of the leading health organizations and largest scientific bodies of evidence like the Academy of nutrition and dietetics, National Academy of Science, Kaiser Permanente, American College of Cardiology, American heart Association, American Cancer Association, world Health Association, all support a well planned plant-based diet as being protective against cardio metabolic diseases, and being healthy and appropriate for every stage of life. And this is why the vegans are far more successful at showcasing the evidence. There is no carnivore equivalent to American College of Lifestyle Medicine, Physicians Committee for responsible Medicine, nutritionfacts, Ornish program that's supported by Medicare for non-invasive treatment of cardiometabolic diseases, Hippocrates wellness, True North, we even have more relevant doctors like you can see on my channel such as many long time vegan cardiologist, long time general practitioners, scientist, nephrologist, pediatricians, gastroenterologist, oncologist, nutritionist, dietitians, If someone's really looking it's clear to see that the plant-based and vegan way of eating is like a century ahead of this so-called carnivore fad diet that's really emulating a necrovore, scavenger based diet. Even KZfaqrs on the vegan side have been around longer, actually shows science instead of saying their science and then not showing science and then later saying it's accumulating but not showing any evidence of this. Even my channel is better than any of the carnivore channels. I showcase interviews with hundreds of long time vegans, lifelong vegans, athletic vegans beating non-vegans, doctors, scientists, Farmers, and the most compassionate people seeking to simply make this a healthier, sustainable, non-violent world. Anyone trying to foster a future of concentrating animal feeding operations and slaughterhouses instead of peace gardens, veganic farms, and greenhouses is just as sick as they come.

You again, ugh, apparently you're so benighted you don't realize that the only supplement we really need when we are on a well-planned vegan diet is B12 and D both of which are actually plentiful in nature. But people, especially non-vegans, are so disconnected from nature and live such sterile lives in the dark that it's ideal to supplement these two things. If you really are a doctor then you know that the overwhelming majority of people who are deficient aren't even vegan. You apparently rather get B12 from necrotic animal flesh (like a zoosadist necrovore), an animal that was supplemented (apparently you don't realize that 80% of the supplements go to animal agriculture), and get it from cross-contamination via their feces during the slaughtering process and depend on intrinsic factor that seems to diminish as you age no matter what diet you're on, people whether they're vegan or not may need to consider supplementing these. So clearly you'd rather eat an animal that was supplemented than take the supplement yourself because you would rather have animals abused and consume their body parts, organs and secretions like a conditioned psychopath.

So it's either we eat vegan and be far less likely to need to go to the doctor and far less likely to need medications or get sick or people eat like you and we foster a violent, sick, unsustainable future where people are depending on medications and continue having shorter Health spans within their mediocre lifespans. Why do you want to pedal death so bad?

Diet that needs supplements...Carnivore: Vitamin C, Vitamin E, B vitamins (boron especially), potassium, and calcium just to name a few.

Seems pure carnivore people dont need vit C, or the min there is suffices on this diet. Beef is complete. Vegans tend to suffer some depletion in the long run. With mental effects, as we can see.

Again he looks prematurely older, frail, and is greying which means the diet is deficient in vitamin and minerals. I wish what you're saying is true but you need to assess the overall human body. Be careful what you preach for nutrition to the masses. Its misleading.

You silly fool, I have people that could crush you on my channel who've been vegan longer than this man has, his age and even older. Vegans are humans and a human's appearance is largely genetic. Epigenetically speaking he looks fantastic. The healthiest centenarians I've seen look trim and fit just like this man appears to be aging for, and that is super centenarian status. Clearly you're a shallow fool who is having a knee-jerk reaction as part of resistance to the truth. I have hundreds of other vegans on this channel and I bet I have a couple dozen or more at least that are stronger than you'll ever be. I bet I have vegans olders than you that look younger than you. But I don't care about how people look so I just interview vegans because what matters is that anyone can do this no matter how they look. And as a result they will look better than they would if they ate body parts, organs and secretions. It would be a lot easier to just block you because clearly you're not genuinely inquisitive and only want good news about your bad habits. Clearly you prefer to perpetuate unnecessary violence that's grotesque and completely unsustainable, unhealthy, invasive, dumb, deadly and destructive. But I'm going to leave this here for now so others can see just how shallow you are and get them thinking about how they don't want to be anything like you ;)

I wish we could make vegan and carnivore doc conversations a regular occurrence. Instead, vegans talk to vegans and carnivores talk to carnivores and the info gets stuck in these echo chambers🫠 Let’s make debate common!

There is no debate. That would be like debating my existence. Because we exist we can be vegan and therefore should be. There is nothing appealing about being carnivore to make it worth debating against veganism. Veganism already won on every level. Unless you're trying to advocate violence for some reason. Otherwise there is no debate really.

@@VeganLinked It is likely that your existence is the result of your ancestors NOT being vegan. Growing crops kills animals. Death is a part of life. A discussion of an optimal human diet from a HEALTH perspective is valuable. We don’t all believe eating animals is wrong. I respect your perspective but I respectful disagree.
