I am looking for my house rooftop dampness (inside my house top ) during rainy season water logs in 2-3 low levels places and exactly below in the house rooptop there is dampness , so what is the solutions. Is pd fin (Dr Fixit) works or New Coat (Asian paints) works , please let me know. Thanks

if dampness is on inside wall, should i not apply it outside as the water is coming from outside? the water should be stopped at source as far as I understand and not at the point where it is coming out

If you have constructed your basement with bricks you are in for endless problems. If it is concrete and you are still getting seepage around the walls then you have to figure out where the source of water flow is coming from. You can research about french drainage system, digging around the outer wall and placing a soak away. Alternatively you can also do internal tanking. Google Tanking basements. This Dr Fixit will not help, I am going use it for a small issue with bathroom/bedroom wall and that's all it can handle!
