Jane Goodall is now vegan after many years as a vegetarian. Going vegan is the single most effective way for each of us to minimize our environmental footprint. "According to the most comprehensive analysis of farming’s impact on the planet, plant-based food is most effective at combatting climate change. Oxford University researcher Joseph Poore, who led the study, said adopting a vegan diet is “the single biggest way to reduce your impact on planet Earth.” “A vegan diet is probably the single biggest way to reduce your impact on planet Earth, not just greenhouse gases, but global acidification, eutrophication, land use and water use.”. -Joseph Poore, Environmental Science Researcher, University of Oxford. Thank you Jane, you are a blessing to the world! EARTH DANCE She's crying out now, from town to town Yeah shape this world, turn things around Void of religion, or money made In any language, our earth to save Might have a TV, a car to drive Own your own kingdom, a social life Out of the plastic, we come of age Today's tomorrow, our earth to save You know where the warm wind blows, oooh follow your heart Step into a new sunrise, the day's about to start, oooh Swim with the dolphin, yeah move with the tide Run with the lion, keep trying Keep our earth, keep our earth alive A walk with nature, caress the moon Love is the season, inside of you But words are empty, beneath a grave A star is falling, our earth to save You know where the warm wind blows, oooh follow your heart Step into a new sunrise, the day's about to start, oooh Swim with the dolphin, yeah move with the tide Run with the lion, keep trying Keep our earth, keep our earth alive Alive, alive, keep it alive, alive Yeah keep it alive Alive, alive, keep it alive

I feel like one of the most important things for this challenge is to have a loving connection to nature. The rest will follow automatically, won't it? I've had a bit of a lonely childhood so I would go and sit on a rock in the field, play with my rabbits in the garden, lay on the grass or climb trees. I've turned to nature for solace and I found so much love there. That's not just poetic words. There actually is a living soul in everything. And it's such a blessing to connect to a tree, a river or a butterfly in that way. If we can all remember to do that once in a while, I'm sure something beautiful will grow in this world

Isaiah 24:1 Behold, the Lord maketh the earth empty, and maketh it waste, and turneth it upside down, and scattereth abroad the inhabitants thereof. 2 And it shall be, as with the people, so with the priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. 3 The land shall be utterly emptied, and utterly spoiled: for the Lord hath spoken this word. 4 The earth mourneth and fadeth away, the world languisheth and fadeth away, the haughty people of the earth do languish. 5 The earth also is defiled under the inhabitants thereof; because they have transgressed the laws, changed the ordinance, broken the everlasting covenant. 6 Therefore hath the curse devoured the earth, and they that dwell therein are desolate: therefore the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men left.

Dear Jane, we will never give up, thanks for encouraging us to hold onto hope and making a difference. I treasure a photo of us holding hands whilst talking by the open fire in a beach town out of Melbourne, Australia, at a fundraiser for “The Thin Green Line” this lead to a page article in a community magazine with our photo about spreading awareness and how each person can make a difference in so many ways to help the environment, animals, and also awareness to the readers of the “Roots and Shoots “ projects, and what positive impact it has on the communities Sending much love to you Jane ,take care 💚💚

Some intelligent empathetic people who chose not to eat meat- Pythagoras, Socrates, Leonardo da Vinci, Voltaire, Newton, Benjamin Franklin, Nikolai Tesla, Edison, Albert Einstein, Gandhi, Albert Schweitzer, George Bernard Shaw, Tolstoy, Thoreau, Saint Francis of Asisi, and many more. The famous Professor of Physics Brian Greene is vegan. You may have seen him on PBS hosting science shows for the layman. Jane Goodall recently went from a long time vegetarian to vegan. Some on this list switched late in life, but stayed on it to the end. Ben Franklin switched at age 16. "Nothing will benefit human health and increase chances for survival of life on Earth as much as the evolution to a vegetarian diet." -Einstein (Of course today, he would be vegan.)

@@someguy2135By being vegetarian or vegan we are still destroying the planet and indeed nature. Plants are living things too. Hopefully Artificial intelligence will take over humans and treat nature a lot better. Einstein was only a strict vegetarian for the last couple years of his life, decades after many of his most important scientific breakthroughs. There are countless records of Einstein eating meat, well into adulthood. This is a fact. Also medical research has revealed that vegetarians Non-meat eaters, especially vegans, had higher risks of either total or some site-specific fractures, particularly hip fractures. This is the first prospective study of diet group with both total and multiple specific fracture sites in vegetarians and vegans, and the findings suggest that bone health in vegans or vegetarians are at higher risk of fractures than meat-eaters. Another fact. Therefore it's sagacious to have a balance diet of food consumption, that includes meat. Although overall it would indeed serve nature better if we didn't have to eat lol. AI is the future of this planet, we have already destroyed it enough...

Man will not save this earth and heaven! We have written promises in scriptures! 2 Peter 3:8-18; Nevertheless, do not let this one fact escape your notice, beloved, that with the Lord one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years is like one day. The Lord does not delay [as though He were unable to act] and is not slow about His promise, as some count slowness, but is [extraordinarily] patient toward you, not wishing for any to perish but for all to come to repentance. A New Heaven and Earth But the day of the Lord will come like a thief, and then the heavens will vanish with a [mighty and thunderous] roar, and the [material] elements will be destroyed with intense heat, and the earth and the works that are on it will be burned up. Since all these things are to be destroyed in this way, what kind of people ought you to be [in the meantime] in holy behavior [that is, in a pattern of daily life that sets you apart as a believer] and in godliness [displaying profound reverence toward our awesome God], [while you earnestly] look for and await the coming of the day of God. For on this day the heavens will be destroyed by burning, and the [material] elements will melt with intense heat! But in accordance with His promise we expectantly await new heavens and a new earth, in which righteousness dwells. So, beloved, since you are looking forward to these things, be diligent and make every effort to be found by Him [at His return] spotless and blameless, in peace [that is, inwardly calm with a sense of spiritual well-being and confidence, having lived a life of obedience to Him]. And consider the patience of our Lord [His delay in judging and avenging wrongs] as salvation [that is, allowing time for more to be saved]; just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given to him [by God], speaking about these things as he does in all of his letters. In which there are some things that are difficult to understand, which the untaught and unstable [who have fallen into error] twist and misinterpret, just as they do the rest of the Scriptures, to their own destruction. Therefore, [let me warn you] beloved, knowing these things beforehand, be on your guard so that you are not carried away by the error of unprincipled men [who distort doctrine] and fall from your own steadfastness [of mind, knowledge, truth, and faith], but grow [spiritually mature] in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To Him be glory (honor, majesty, splendor), both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.

So god is gunning for another apocalypse! Religion to the rescue again! Smh. Tons of common sense and science there. The one piece of common sense I see you conveniently left out is man being a good steward of the earth. Stop being in such a hurry to meet your "Maker" and take care of the place that this "god" made for you right here. I have one question. What's more important to this god. Me repenting or me perishing? We need less preaching and more action.
