The writer of several books like, “The Saffron Swastika” and “Decolonizing Hindu Mind” talked about his childhood, his upbringing and his love for India, in this interview. Against Islam, India has done well only in relative terms, i.e. compared to countries like Iran and Indonesia, but not in absolute terms. And the fight against Islam is not over yet, not by a long shot. Non-Muslim Indians, if they drop their guard against Islam, will only do so at their own peril. Just my personal thoughts.

@msc14111990 Iranian/Baloch were actually invaded by Arabic invaders. Then most of Iranian natives have to flee Persia for India . Still today they all live around Bombay

❤️ India failed, because Indians r over loving, n emotional.... ATITHI DEVO BHAVA (guests are form of god) ... We thought foreigners as good n kind people... We like to welcome everyone... Our overall culture is like that, still today we r living peacefully with everyone... India is not a hindu state, even with 76% hindus... All because we can adjust with every religion... Jews too got shelter here( personally speaking, Jews are better than other religions who got shelter here, n I love Israel, how it remains fearless surrounded by islamic states ) ... Everyone is welcome here, If u come with the intention to fight, we will destroy u, but even today if u come as a guest (with evil intentions to capture us), I don't think we will b able to find that... We have grown in love n simplicity, n think everyone as a human and a creation of god... Thus we don't hate outsiders... I accept, it is our weak point, not everyone should be trusted blindly... We should lose that simplicity, n be practical n diplomat... We shouldn't be soo humble to the outsiders... Even today we live peacefully with Muslims... But Muslims n Christians(not everyone of thm) r busy converting people to their religion... They want India as Islamic state, or Christian state... N we r simply ignoring... Letting it be... See the condition of hindus, in Pakistan and Bangladesh... Even Arab is not so open as we r to every religion... Here everyone gets high positions, in Pak there has not been a single hindu, PM... Even today we r highly ignorant n extra humble n welcoming.... Anyways may peace prevail n there b a single religion of humanity ❤️ ...... Our holi books say, VASUDHAIVA KUTUMBAKAM in Sanskrit, which means WORLD IS ONE FAMILY 🌏❤️

Vijay, we are not naïve, we are rather so above of these evils. According to Sanatana; there are 'six enemies' around us! Being one of them, 'Hatred' is the fair which burn us from inside out while the other person; whom you are heating, remain unaffected! The fire of ‘Hate’ makes you blind and disables to take accurate actions. For example, you can see the atmosphere around. Whenever our ancestor failed save a temple, a library or a University; they didn’t freak-out. They burry it and concentrated their best energy to create something bigger and better. ‘Sukrachariya’ might get lost in the depth of ‘Mahakala’, but ‘Thakshila University’ aroused! When the ‘Mahakala’ took it too; we have JNU.

1.Buddhism spread rapidly which believed in non-violence. 2. Only Kshtriyas were allowed to face enemies. 3. Too many smaller kingdoms popped up and fought with each other. 4. A kingdom had only military strength less than 1 lakh while invading forces came with 1.25 laks to 1.5 lakh strong force. 5. Neighbouring kings rarely helped at the time of attack. All this shortcomings helped invaders to conquer easily.

India didn't 'fail' to industrialize, it was forcefully deindustrialized by the British.

@@ashishrajput2116 no, there's a difference between failure and defeat. We DID industrialize, in fact the earliest machine designs like the handloom machines etc were stolen by the British from India. Early weapona technology like the missile technology was learnt by the British from the Anglo Mysore wars. We were industrialized, but the colonial game forceably de-industrialized us. You may ask, why does it matter. It matters because of what it says about our people. We're not without talent. What we lack is unity. If we can be defeated, it's only because of colluders.

A society with no unity or trust among its citizens is prone to external control. This disunity among its citizens was one of the biggest weaknesses of ancient India. Though despotic monarchy can't stabilize a society for long without the support of strategic tools of control like religion, a ruler strong enough to establish a pan Indian empire could have instilled a sense of unity and thus provided more security. But India was a chaotic mess of despotic monarchs who kept fighting with each other all the time. The invaders took advantage of this and easily won over the rulers by turning them against each other. The brutal truth is that our native ancestors are also responsible for the pains that our country has gone through and blaming it all on the British ( though they're totally blamable) is not fair.

No doubt India did well and remained Hindu even after 1400 years of attacks on it. But, I think, the main reason for its cultural defeat is that until the establishment of the British hegemony, India’s States, and princes behaved like independent countries, more often at cross purposes with each other. Rajputs are the best example of collusion with the Muslim rulers against other Hindu kings. Even the Marathas often fought amongst themselves. Ranjit SIngh supported the British. There was no combined effort to route out the Muslim and European invaders.

Like you can't break the sand or water, but you can break a single stone into peaces. Thousand different ideology and sects built together the Hinduism, it is not just one stiff rock like idea so evil one can shatter it. Of course it is not easy to build a castle of registence with sand or water. But you don't need one as the sand or water are immortal itself

Why india lose King of sindh raja dahir betrayed by their own local tribe( jats, buttos, budhist etc) Muhammad gori won with help of traitors jaichand who was against the king prithviraj chauhan British east india company defeated by indians but re-established british raj again by british indian regiments( sikh, punjab, jat, gurkha,mahar etc) and many rulers of rajwadas,sikh and jats Mughals are also defeated by marathas..they did not invade us, we let them invading..and we also paid very big price 1000 ce - 33 percent of global gdp(26.3 trillion usd in today ) 1700 - 25 percent of global gdp(20trillion usd) 1947 - 2 percent of global gdp(1.6 trillion usd) It is estimate that british looted 44.6 trillion usd from us that why they built trains, port and monuments here in india Western laugh on us, our nalanda university library took 6 and half month to burnt completely.. education institutes destroyed but now replaced by same old english concept Thank my indian brother, some of your forefather helped those thugs That how you got lands, palaces , business now..your families did outstanding jobs and let us die in poverty.. @msc14111990 see according to vedas and manusmriti we humans can eat meat of any kind but we are supposed to be vegetarian as the gut and intestine structure of humans are more similar to herbivore ,very long small intestine is for herbivore so that fast moving vegan diet should be adequetly absorbed in long intestine but meat travels so slow in intestine and rots fast thus its ideal to eat vegan diet but meat of any kind can be consumed in need and famines to survive manusmriti says ...only thing i see some lacking in hinduism is hard unity(every indivisual has its own opinion unlike a common societal brain and action) and useless forgiveness (but it's not the vedic custom original custom is untill unless the wrong doer do praischit[sanskrit] like undo the wrong and is willingly participated in undo the wrong else he must not be forgiven and forgotten and must be given punishment and taken serious cautions against them should be taken so that it will never repeat)

Defeat is an Intellectual word & not Intelligence! That means it's limited. India was never a Feat (as an achievement, something "Done or Made out") but a Culture emerged from not an Act but Educed in Meditation. She thus Manifest through culturing. Enlivened by Quest of Spirits she delivers the Beings who Creates this Culture by living it in DNA, transferring & transforming. Culture is Educing & not Elimination, thus She is Educed to the New World as well, when others got eliminated!!!

@Darkhorse You are partially right and partially wrong ..you are seeing ranjit Singh as only a sikh ..he was jatt also...and in Punjab Pakistan mostly punjabi are rajput or jatt so there were no question or need to start our rebellion against sikh empire because mostly population of punjabis were arain ,jatt ,rajput and pathan like community like liaqat ali khan ( jatt) helped in creating muslim state pak Now come to the second point , actually every invasion started from punjab to others part of india So in bengal Maharashtra dravid and other parts of india ..there is also no indian muslim even nizam of Hyderabad are turkic descendents.. And tipu sultan of mysore was also French supporter ..he got support from amir of Afghanistan and sultan of turkey...and tipu sultan also a afgani descendents, he and his father also betray their king .. So in india those muslim rulers in South also were foreign descendent But you must focus on today still 1.5 crore illegal muslim immigrants are living in india.. majority of them came from Bangladesh..

India has survived illegal invasions by Islamic and European nations that committed atrocities and more on Hindu nation. The fact that Hindu nation survived illegal invasions and is now a thriving nations and with Indians thriving outside India proves that our ancestors made sacrifices and fought till the end. The British war was unfair battle British had continuous support and supply of weapons from motherland Britain and Indian nation was suppressed and was not allowed to own weapons and still Indians forced the British out in 1947 . British ran before they were scheduled to leave. British punished India for their humiliation against them by unilaterally stealing India's lands and creating a country called Pakistan in 1947 for Islamic nation. The Indian nation did not vote for this theft of lands . Illegal invader Britain made this decision which resulted in a genocide. Honour to all India's freedom fighters unsung heroes and Indian nation for their sacrifice and proving to themselves and the world that Indian is not a defeatist nation but a victorious nation that the world now looks up to. That’s how the term “pagan” comes to fruition. By barbarians at the gates, I meant to refer to Germanic tribes invading and plundering Rome
