Bless you Dr. Marcus Cosby. There’s reciprocity in the Kingdom of God. Although Jacob was a Bad Man that got blessed, Jacob experienced deceit from Laban in giving his daughters in marriage. Reciprocity was a cold dish served to Jacob, the supplanter. God cleaned up Jacob through allowing Jacob to experience his own consequences of being a Bad Man . Jacob went from a Bad Man to a Blessed Man with twelve sons and became Israel

God teaches the lessons He wants us to learn in so many different ways. Our human self does not always get it right, but God. Thank you for the sermon, for the manner in which you presented a message that might touch hearts and minds to do what is needed, instead of always doing what is desired. God is awesome and indescribable.

Well honestly like Habakkuk I have had trouble with this. There is such a level of injustice today. Inexcusable today with wrongdoers ruling in high places oppressing the people who deserve an honest weight; with false idols in arts and entertainment distracting the common people; and so much desperation. It’s not sustainable really. And I don’t believe our Lord would allow the destruction of what Genesis shows us as “ His” most magnificent creation - a universe. Anyway, after all that has happened these two thousand twenty three years the created thing / us- does not seem to be improving. Rather worsening. Faults are one thing - murder another matter entirely. I pray for mercy for those at least trying to do the right thing. We’d like NOT to be assaulted and killed in these streets by those who are paid by us to serve the peace. That’s all.

My mother sent me this link @4am I been trying to tell my moms religion isn't real. Blk ppl hate everything about slavery except Christianity??? I never met a pastor who will give free sermons lol

This is a dumb comment. First of all, Christianity was alive and well in Africa. It didn't begin with Europeans so assuming that's the only place where Black people experienced it is ignorant. Moreover, you clearly don't have a clue. There are many preachers and pastors that do not get paid or preach for money. You do know that the American church is not the only example of church and Christianity that exists right?

Actually it was Jacob's mom idea to dupe his dad because it was prophesied for him to get the blessing. God didn't choose Esau because he lacked character.

Point of Oder. You don't go to Heaven when you die! The dead in Christ do NOT rise until the LORD returns!

God gave the "Birth Right" of the oldest to Jacob(the youngest)...Why do you call Jacob a trick when God set everything in motion to accomplish his will? Why don't you call "GOD" a deceiver, shyster, trick, everything you call Jacob.... YOU CAN'T STOP GOD FROM EXACTING HIS WILL EITHER...!
@pearl0818 Жыл бұрын
Jacob literally means trickster🤷🏿♀️Look it up

Jacob with the help of his mother did trick his father for his blessing. When Jacob became honorable God changed his name to Israel.

A lot of big words Without power.🤷 God is calling for a demonstration of what you are preaching. Where are you taking the church? We can't see nothing but preachers talking about doctrine but no fire 🔥 and this generation is walking away. What are you doing beside talking. Because we need God's Power to Change our circumstances. Give us the unadulterated truth. Miracles signs and wonders, we want that! The Presence of God is not here.
@nathanrembert9368 Жыл бұрын
The change of your complaints start with you. You perform the miracles, signs and wonders… you have the power if you have the Holy Spirit.
@MarioBrownEverEvolving Жыл бұрын
The better question sis, is where is the power in your life? You are wasting talking criticizing the church and preachers. Why don't you be an example of the preservation of young people? Do you live the unadulterated truth? What demonstration is flowing from your life?. If you are about the Father's you wouldn't have time to sit and judge what you think others aren't doing in ministry. What are you doing to help change circumstances? Would you know what the unadulterated truth of God really is or do you have a theory of who and what God is?
@pedrobain3972 Жыл бұрын
Jesus came with miracles, signs, and wonders, and they still crucify him. Those things point us toward God, the belief in the truth of the word of God saves us. We are saved by grace through faith. I am not saying miracles, signs, and wonders should not be in the church but they don't save us.

When you have a free moment, read Romans chapter 8. After you finish reading that, read all of 1 John (that's the book of 1st John, not the Gospel of John chapter 1). Gain some clarity and lose some of the attitude. Let your own life be a demonstration of what God is calling the church to do. By the time you read Romans chapter 8 and 1 John you may just find your vision.
