If I can speak candldly (which I can): Nothing is going to persuade Philip Payne from believing what he wants to believe about the distigmai. He (like our late brother Gordon Fee) wants I Cor. 13:34-35 to be non-original and the distigmai conveniently form part of the evidence in favor of his egalitarian position.

I did talk to him about 1 Cor 14:34-35 in the next video. I don't find his arguments convincing and I suspect many wont unless they're egalitarian.

🚩🚩🚩I can't get over Dr. Payne's decision to delete Scripture (part of 1 Cor ) - this colors how I listen to this person. A huge red flag 🚩🚩🚩
