I'm certain a big reason why, is that he's not an entirely "dirty" comedian. He throws a couple cuss words around but not directly at somebody. He doesn't use the likeness to make fun of Dr Phil, but to have fun with the likeness of Dr Phil.

Adam Ray is awesome. Met him at Kill Tony back in February and he stayed after the show, shook hands, and talked to people. I told him I wanted him to come to Nashville and he said he was in October. We went online and bought those tickets that night. I can’t wait!

I have been in a tough patch recently as I’m sure many are but working today I was howling laughing at the doc. It’s insane how funny this man is especially because I watched dr Phil episodes growing up and I still do. This is absolutely amazing I can watch this everyday
