Anyone REALLY wanting peace for the region understands that there must be a new paradigm. All those billions sunk into building tunnels and getting munitions instead of advancing Palestinian quality of life is failing the children.

They had their many chances. Now they voted for hamas. I don't even want to IMAGINE what that state will look like. They just use the "palestinian" identity for political purposes.

Biblical Land of Israel: I argue that Jordan and parts of Syria are included in the biblical descriptions of the Land of Israel, specifically the territories promised to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob. This includes areas such as Gilead and Bashan, which are mentioned in the Bible. Historical Jewish Presence: Claims of historical Jewish communities and heritage in these regions, emphasizing a historical connection that predates modern borders. Security Concerns: Strategic Depth: Annexing Jordan and Syria could provide Israel with greater strategic depth, enhancing its ability to defend against potential threats from neighboring countries and non-state actors. Buffer Zones: Establishing control over these territories could create buffer zones that might reduce the risk of attacks on major Israeli population centers.

@@strikerorwell9232 Just as there isn't any "evil" land ... there isn't any "holy" land. There is just land that silly old religious men LABELED as being holy. Religion did that to them and that is what keeps on keeping the war going. If they had labeled that land as being EVIL and of the DEVIL ... would Jews, Christians and Muslims be killing each other to try to possess the land? NO ... they would NOT. Whether it is man created books ... or ... land ... anything that is labeled as being HOLY ... is worth dying for. Silly human animals. Question: "How many times has Jerusalem been destroyed?" Answer: Jerusalem, the “city of peace,” has certainly known its share of sorrow and war. Since it sits at the crossroads of the ancient world and is held in high esteem by three major religions, it has been involved in wars throughout most of its 3000+ year history. When archaeologists first began excavating in the city, they were surprised to discover layer after layer of rubble, indicating that parts of Jerusalem had been destroyed at least 40 times. The layers of rubble in some places are more than 60 feet deep!

It's a simple fix, they, Hamas are part of the Palestinian people because of the injustices at them by IDF Backed up by locals and throwing them in jail for nothing, well to take their homes, bully and intimidation. It happens in a vacuum created by Israel on the Palestinian people. Netanyahu has children's blood on his hands. Doe's that make it any clearer for you? Palestinian people are being marginalised to the point of extermination by Netanyahu's Israel. Yes, Hamas needs to change, but so does Israel. It cuts both ways, unfortunately. I'm very surprised that Dr. Phil got involved in this business as I have a lot of respect for him. We can't take sides during a war that's murdering women and children. I'm for peace. Israel does not have to continue when they should come to an agreement at this stage before it gets even worse. Slainte 👍

@@ianrust3785 I suggest that people should study more history in order to understand from the point of view of the Palestinians. During the second world war ... Jews that were trying to escape Hitler's "Final Solution Mandate" ... were not welcome in most countries ... so those Jews were foisted off on the Palestinians by the thousands. And for their own earthly protection ... those Jews created the State of Israel "inside" of Palestine. That was Zionism. Anti-Semitism is to be against the Jewish "religion." Some Jews that are Atheists “are” anti-Semitic. And most certainly Christianity and Islam are anti-Semitic religions. Christian "missionaries" are not in Israel for any other reason than to convert the Jews to Christianity, so that (from their opinions) Jesus will once again make his appearance ... to take them ALL "home" to Christian heaven. Those Christian missionaries belong to "The Jews for Jesus" movement. Misplaced hatred against the Jews started with the ridiculous stories in the Christian bible that the Jews killed Jesus and that the Jews were money-grabbers and that Jesus wanted the Jews brought to him to be slayed. Had Jesus lived ... he would have stayed faithful only TO Judaism. Jewish Rabbis do not vouch for Catholicism ... or ... for Protestantism. Religion has been the cause of massive amounts of torture and death ... and hopefully one day soon ... as more and more members of clergy (there are now hundreds) shed the myths to find jobs away from religion ... it gives hope that others will follow the lead. From the book ... Apostle to Apostate: The Story of the Clergy Project … authors … Catherine Dunphy, Richard Dawkins When you are reared to think of your faith and its leaders as infallible, dissent can be an unsettling thing. This is particularly true for clergy, who have devoted their lives to the subject of faith. I therefore especially hope that this story reaches those clergy who have yet to articulate their doubts. As they struggle through this process, I am thankful that they can look to the Clergy Project as an example of community and humanism as an example of good. As former clergy who have left churches of every denomination, synagogues, mosques, convents, monasteries, and theological institutions, we stand as examples of the reasonableness of doubt and its thoughtful conclusions. I cannot help but think that we offer a compelling voice for why science and secularism do a better job than religion and superstition of answering the so-called ultimate questions.

There are two versions of history, one of them being very distorted, but the reality is the history has followed the same pattern as what's unfolding today in virtually every case stretching back all the way to 1947. The pattern is this: Palestinians attack in the name of Jihad, violating international law > Jews retaliate and completely dominate them > Palestinians act as if they are victims of the retaliation > repeat in different forms for 75 years Again we see this pattern where pro-Palestine critics can't actually cite facts or make substantive criticisms, they only allude to them.

@@ianrust3785 seems you don’t understand the history. It doesn’t start in 47 but more like the late 1700’s when England was looking for a way to get rid of money usury that the Jews perfected and have been kicked out of hundreds of countries for. England had no right to just give someone else’s land to the Jews! There’s a little taste of truth for ya..

There is no balance that can be struck with Hamas, go read Hamas's charter, it's available online. Hamas openly mocks the very notion of peace in their charter. Peace is not possible with Hamas. If you knew anything about Hamas you would understand this.
