I’m dead serious when I say that this might be the best piece of general aviation filmography ever put out to the public. It absolutely captures what GA stands for and really shows the sense of community between all of us pilots. I loved every second of this and if anything it reaffirmed my love of backcountry and commercial aviation. Looks like I picked the right lifestyle!

Congrats Trent... and everyone else who attended High Sierra Fly In 2018. I still can't believe you and your legion of friends finished the FreedomFox in time. Trent sure turned lemons into lemonaide this year... trashed airplane to certified CubKiller Extraordinaire! My goal for next year is to attend High Sierra 2019 in my brand new bush / STOL / backcountry airplane... which will look unlike any other airplane I saw on any of the High Sierra Fly In 2018 videos. The videos you FlyingCowboys and friends are posting this year are so great, I predict twice as many people attend next year.

You have made some great video's in the past. But the last few have been my absolute favorites. I think it is because we get to participate in your excitement. And this race, I had to remind myself to breath when you raced Mark P, BOTH TIMES, holy cow what a great time, and then to race Draco. Man that was fun. It was also great to see you wife. I laughed so hard when she was screaming on that takeoff. Roller coster ride!!!!!!! Thanks Trent, you are a true inspiration. Keep up the great work. Ya if you watch Mikes Vids you will see the astounding amount of work he did with his own hands ...Draco is because of Mikes mind and thousands of hours of engineering and labor ... plus about a million bucks in parts but you cant buy a used Pilatus Porter for that

High Sierra, Definitely #1 in my bucket List!! Thanks to the complete Flying Cowboys team who inspires many us to keep pushing on ourselves to accomplish our goals related to aviation and for making this event possible to keep aviation FUN. In my very personal case, watching this videos where there's people doing what they love and enjoying it while being surrounded by their best friends and families makes me say: "Hey! I want to fly there with my little boy and enjoy my weekend with this guys!!". This is exactly what I want to transmit to him. Do what you love to do and share it with those who you love. Working on my PPL so hopefully we can be there soon. I wonder what's the motivation for Trent and the rest of the team.....

So many cool things about this. A few years ago Trent wasn't even a pilot, now he's getting 2nd in STOL Drag. PLUS, he creates an amazing video of the whole thing so we can see an amazing event that many of us hadn't even heard of before. Loved this video!

Believe it or not. A company has made a turbine that can fit in light sport aircraft it's called the PBS TP100. And it was tested in a Rans RV10. Pushes out 250 horsepower. Your thoughts Trent?

An amazing project and that Rotax 915 IS seems to be everything that it was alledged to be. I have one question, How is a Custom Wilga with over 700HP racing with other aircraft that has 1/5th the power it has?

It also has three times the weight. Without that prop beta mode, that race would have been *much* closer, IMHO. I wonder if there is a prop that can do beta for the Kitfox... :-)

Great photography, especially the drone work! I don't know how you flew the plane and drone at the same time, and you still nearly beat Mike Patey, but that was amazing. I was cheering and laughing as I sat in front of my screen alone. Inspirational!! You deserve to hold those awards and boast of being a very close second place winner.
