Great job at explaining step by step how to drag race! I used to go to the track quit often over the years and for someone to go for the first time it can be very intimidating......and embarrassing. Like cutting a 1 second reaction time and 3 second 60 foot. LOL I am absolutely amazed at how technology has improved performance. Being in my late 60's I remember when a very hot street car would have difficulty cutting the times your car does. Again wonderful video!

Appreciate the small details (such as how to exit), helps a lot! Also, appreciate the manual transmission information... Quick question, on 1/8 mile tracks, how do the markers on the road differ (obviously it won't be 1/8, 1000 ft. and finish line). Do they even bother with markers?

Nice video. Lead won't damage your engine as much as it will damage your O2 sensors. Very insightful how to video. I'm just curious, where is the how to for a night in Mexico video. Your launch control issue might be from something DME turned off.

Forgot to cover Helmet requirements, I haven't done any drag racing or been to a drag strip since Englishtown in the late 80's..LOL! Googled Atco's helmet requirement. YES! All racers in the state of NJ are required to wear a helmet. Racers running slower than 14.00 seconds may use a DOT helmet. Racers 13.99 and quicker must use a Snell rated helmet (minimum Snell-2010).

After watching the full video, I’m fairly certain he is trying to help out the guys that have never been on a drag strip. Really a Drag Racing 101. I doubt his intent is teaching John Force how to get down the track. Why so negative?
