The Bronco was designed and built around the 2.3L. The 2.7 was an after thought because Ford knows they need that "More powerful engine option". I got the 4 door Sasquatch with 2.3L and it's plenty of power! I tow a 2000 lb boat up hills and it's still good power. I do stay on Premium Fuel because I tow semi frequently.

Do you have tow package and/or think it’s needed if towing 3k pound or less?

@@PhillyDawkins20 I got the tow package. I'd recommend it if you do plan to tow. But a bolt on hitch would also do fine towing up to 3.5K lbs.

Naa the 2.3 feels like it was made for the two-door in mind.... I have a WildTrak 4 door on order coming soon with the 2.7 twin turbo- and I'm glad I did cuz I wouldn't go any lower than that

Fun video, cool exhaust comparison but the Roush on the 2.3 is the best of both worlds. High clearance and killer sound, plus add the intake for some smoother acceleration!

Mitchell and Krista what a great video! I hope you do more going forward. I ordered my Bronco with exactly what configuration I wanted. It had the 2.7, the tow package, it was a Big Bend with every available option except the door key pad that I didn’t want.. I received it almost 8 months to the day after I ordered it. It was well worth the wait!

To be honest. It doesn’t matter. Compared to an exotic sports car why bother? No one buys a Jeep rubicon for the sound. Nor a Bronco. It is not much of a thing in off-roading/rock crawling.

Agree, to a point. Most of the engines in these newer vehicles just don’t sound good no matter what you do. Ever hear a 4.0 I6 bored/stroked to 4.7 with a good exhaust?

I refused to compromise when we ordered our Wildtrak and have every constraint item. Our order was put in early October and we picked it up on 4/1, it may have taken a little longer but we got exactly what we wanted.

@Mike D.. You're lucky! I have a Wildtrak with just about every option too.. I ordered mine in Oct. 2021 as well. I still have yet to get a build notice from Ford!

I ordered Aux switches because they just sounded cool. I did not even know the wiring was pre-run when I originally ordered the Bronco a year ago. Then I saw them at New Hampshire off rodeo and they looked so good. Now AUX 3-6 are used. I have not found any accessories that require 15 or 30 amps to use on AUX 1 and 2 yet.

Hey Mitchel, Great build! I met you at the end of WindRock with the Cyber Orange and ADD bumper (basically same setup as yours). I think I mentioned that my ACC relocation bracket doesn't work well either and I haven't repainted my letters (so I wouldn't go with the metallic paint excuse). My dealership adjusted it 3 times to get it to partially work at about 50% reduced range. When it works, I can use Distance Level I or 2, but not 3 or 4. At the same time, the longer I am driving the bigger chance I will get an ACC error that will not go away until I restart the Bronco. The error is related to ACC sensor being blocked, which usually occurs during any kind of moisture or dust (as after Windrock). Thus, I do believe ADD needs to go back to the drawing board with there relocation idea. Let us know if you find out more!

I bought the DV8 winch and bumper. They have a relocation bracket for the cruise control it worked out perfect for my badlands.

Received a build date last month. Was supposed to go into production this past week but when I check the status it’s not in production yet. No word on reschedule. Not in any rush as I’m saving to pay it off in full and have another truck to drive. I also ordered a badlands 2.7 liter luxe pckg non squatch though and hardtop.

I'm in Canada (Harsh Winters) and thinking of buying a Bronco as a one and done all year round daily driver. I'm leaning towards a base 2 door with a 2.7 for some peppy road performance. I wonder how much performance gains the small guy with minimal add ons (less weight and smaller tires) will produce?

Great Video! I also have the same issue with the wireless charging. It overheats my phone and then crushes the battery after. I did a 2 hour drive and went from 55% phone battery to 0 and the phone was super hot! Also, I have the same ADD Bumper/light setup you have. I wish there was a way to just mount the camera right on top of the warn controller box as there doesnt seem to be any good mounting solutions for the camera with this bumper.

For the ACC you need to level it and reprogram it at the dealer. If you need a better bracket that moves it up higher and away from the letters, give us a call as SVC. Our relocation bracket moves it higher and might solve your issue after reprogramming.

Just curious did you notice how close the fiberglass fenders were in color to the Oxford white when you got them? My bronco is white and I'm wondering if I'll need a wrap as soon as I put the fenders on if I order

I have used aftermarket switches and made the proper sized holes through the dash to mount the switches.

We finally got our Bronco. Wildtrak in Area51. I have a ton of parts in my garage ready to put on as soon as the Fox Shocks come out. The waiting begins again..... Hope to have it done and see you both in the Bronco Super Celebration in Colorado. If you come out to St. George, UT we can teach you how to really send it in Sand Hollow State Park. I will go out there anytime with you. Love watching both of your channels.

Just putting premium into my 2.7 on 33s makes it chirp the tires up to 30 mph in 2WD. Love the V6 ecoboost

Yeaaah no. That's not how fuel octane levels work bud. Octane level means it's resistance to detonation. Your vehicles knock sensor increases or decreases the timing in the motor no matter what octane you put in it. Just run what it's tuned for and that's it. There's no benefit outside of that.

I don't want soft top or the steps that slide out from underneath. I live in new england with snow and storms and would rather get the hard top.. 35s I'd like to get. I really like the low profile muffler. I had thought of getting a badlands. I'd like to get bigger tires. How did you guys get all those cool bumpers and the air compressor installed under the hood? That green. I want that so bad

I have an important question for you.... Automatic Car washes. Can I take the new soft top bronco thru automatic Car washes, I know this is random, but I haven't found a video about cleaning and the Do's and Don't for the new Bronco.

My Wildtrak heated steering wheel is nearly too hot to touch 30 seconds after turning it on in certain places. If you aren't feeling the heat, there is definitely something amiss. (Regarding 21:30)

lol.... Last July I ordered my manual 2door Bronco with modular bumper and the Aux switches. It finally delivered this past April 12th...WITHOUT the Aux switches...after waiting all that time I did not take delivery 😢😢😢😢

You can add in the auxiliary switches. I did it after getting mine. You have to buy a new bezel, wiring harness and might need to swap out the fuse panel.

Since my concussion I have hearing sensitivity, so I prefer a quieter exhaust, hence the Badlands. The other also sounds like it's misfiring, but I do like the setup.

you should never leave your sunglasses in your vehicle during summer. The extreme heat will cause the coatings to shrink and will look like 100s of little scratches.

I know that you can't really compare the two, but my Ford Transit van has a 3.5 litre 310 hp twin turbo EcoBoost engine. I've never needed to floor it because of all the horse power.

Yeah same, especially in sport mode. The manual comes with 4.43 final drive vs the 3.73 that the open diff autos get so that alone would help.

This was EVERYTHING I wanted to see. Just trying to get baseline for wrap price. Any help on fair price for wrap and PPF? My area guys seem to think I am made of $$$$$$

I'm in Atlanta and it is close to 6k for a full PPF wrap with Xpel.

I feel that ppf is far more expensive than a regular wrap. Depending on the area you live, ppf is around 5-6k and a wrap would be less than 4k

I have heard that wraps dont last long when off roading or going down gravel roads. But you both have wraps done. How well or long in your opinion do wraps really work?

My wrap is holding up well. The matte finish soaks up mud, so I would recommend getting it ceramic coated if you go with a Matte Finish. If you go with a Gloss wrap, you should be fine

Once u touch the adaptive cruise it won’t work again. I bent the bracket on mine slightly on my SHO never has worked again. Even tho I bought a new bracket😂
