I'm not very familiar with Barker exhaust but I haven't heard anything bad about them. Monster has been becoming more and more popular but for a while many did not have those on their quads. If that is not a popular brand in your group, you should consider monster, as it offers some of the best horsepower gains and has one of the loudest notes.

That's a very hard question to answer. On pavement a 15 tooth will accelerate slightly slower than that of a 14 tooth and will in turn give you a little more top end. But on dirt the difference is going to be minuscule given that the Raptor will still be delivering so much power to the dirt that it's just going to spin regardless.

I think they are a really unique looking machine and look pretty sweet! I'm not sure about the independent suspension on a sport quad as far as handling and weight. But nonetheless, they are pretty cool!

I'm running stock ratio as well. I have played with it and switched it up in the past but this is with the stock ratio.

Waste no money and get a YFZ 450 or Raptor 700! Most folks will tell you don't get a quad too big for your experience. I disagree! It's all about respect and throttle control. If you have respect for the machine and you have throttle control, you'll have no issue. I would suggest getting a YFZ 450 or Raptor because then as you become more experienced you won't have to move up to a bigger quad, you're already on the podium machines. In turn you'll save tons of money! The YFZ 450 would be the best for the dunes because it's lightweight and nimble and you'll have tons of fun sliding across the dune faces, but it will require more regular maintenance than the Raptor. The Raptor would be a great choice too because it's longevity is far superior and it offers tons and tons of power through the entire power curve.

I didn't launch it in four-wheel drive because I've noticed that it's slightly slower in four-wheel drive. Probably cuz it takes a little bit more horsepower to turn that transfer case. And being that the Renegade really doesn't spin on pavement, I figured two-wheel drive would be better.

Have fun fixing that BRP product when it breaks down 3 times a year 😅

So I've been looking into that and it's not as easy as the older models before 2015. I'm going to have to dyno the computer in each gear, adding timing where it's retarding it. But I agree with you once I can keep it from retarding timing it will fly on top end

It is true you lose about twice as much horsepower from the engine to the wheels going through the CVT transmission compared to a manual transmission

The difference between the Renegade and Banshee is very similar to what a stock Raptor would behave like against a Renegade.. Once you add the modifications to the Raptor it really opens it up and changes the outcome! Now the question I have is how much of a difference would it make to the Renegade if I added the same parts to it as the Raptor? Nonetheless, I do think these are my two favorite quads! 🤘😎

Megatron really is a sick machine!! That's even with the computer trying to pull back the timing. They designed this machine to pull back timing once it gets over 80 🤦🏼‍♂️🤦🏼‍♂️ to keep the speed down.

The reason I always do that is it gives me a bit of a disadvantage but it levels the playing field across the board, whether I'm on one machine or the other. It provides consistency. Otherwise, if you do it the way that you're saying, there's always going to be inconsistencies because one person is going to be launching before the other and vice versa. Allowing me to do it this way. Knows that every time he's going to get the hit and I'll be right behind him.
