Let that be a start to the new reborn saiyan specie. (Pls don't overthink my shit...answer with kindness...plus it's just an idea)

It still wouldn't be the same. They've never known planet Vegeta and their upbringing is still different from an OG Saiyan. Their upbringing being alot kushier than Vegeta's (or even Goku's) also leads to a general lack of interest in training like their dads (which gets compounded by their moms not wanting them to be like their dads)

killertrash I think a better choice would be to just add a small percentage of Saiyan blood to humanity itself. Or rather, Earthlings. Well, a slight wall to make them earn it would be a good idea. Maybe some sort of hidden potential that people can only tap into if they have pride as martial artists. For all intents and purposes, Earth is the Saiyan's home now and the universe's greatest defenders all hail from there. Might as well set it on track to be Universe 7's version of Planet Salada.

harry beaver You're asking for Piccolo 2.0 then. Vegeta is fine in Super. There are just writers who seem to fail to understand his character. He isn't like his Cell arc version. He would laugh after saying something you would think is arrogant. Super Vegeta isn't trying to be arrogant, he is putting himself into a corner to push his own limits as a warrior. Goku is not his end goal, Vegeta has clearly stated many times that he wants to be the strongest in all the universes. Goku is just a continuous stepping stone

I just want my phone call in his defense: Vegeta doesn't like to show his soft side in front of enemies. Goku is basically his war brother and doesn't mind being soft with him because Goku is well... Goku.

KEZ OM3GA Nah that's not what I want at all, what I want is some consistency. I love when vegeta is arrogant during battle because that's who he is and how he's always been. I also have no problem with him still trying to surpass goku (although I do think he takes that a little to serious still). I'm talking about how vegeta carries himself and interacts with others off the battlefield. I understand vegeta is a "tsundere elite" but that kind of characterization gets extremely bland and boring after hearing it too many times. I don't want "I will defeat kakarot/I am vegeta sama/fuck teamwork I'll defeat them all myself" to be the only lines vegeta says over and over again like a broken record. I want some damn character growth and adjustments. Instead of him saying "Fuck ultra instinct I'll defeat you my own way!" Like a hardheaded brute, why not grow as a warrior? Why not take whis' advice to heart and actually relax and unwind a bit instead of stubbornly refusing to even try? What's the point of all that training if you refuse to change and adapt? Because dbs thinks exaggerating vegetas stubbornness is all there is to him. Keep in mind I'm mostly talking about the anime here because I love vegeta from the manga. He's not always on point there either but at least there he uses strategy in battle, never bowed down to beerus like a dog for comic relief, he's more relaxed/warm to family/friends while still keeping his edge, makes the effort to relax, and is complimented by whis for improving as a warrior instead of being belittled and insulted to his face by beerus. In fact in a recent interview the producers of dbs basically said they switch between him fighting purely for pride and family/unselfishness whenever they feel like it. That's why we get vegeta acting cold and bullshit scenes like him refusing to lend energy to the spirit bomb early in the ToP just so he can share his energy later as a sign of "growth". That's not growth, that's flip flopping. Not saying he's terrible in the anime because he does have shining moments but they are too few and far between a bunch of nonsense and that annoys me. I don't want piccolo 2.0, i just don't want a perpetually butthurt vegeta standing in the corner going "Hmph" all the time and being stagnant, that's all. Sorry for the rant.

@@1999bazz You're thinking of Vegeta in DBGT. DBS Vegeta is a stereotype of Vegeta that constantly gets shitted by Toriyama and writers for the sake of comedy. GT Vegeta is the Vegeta that feels more natural with his development while still never losing his tough edge plus in the end of GT he becomes Earth's main protector while DBS Vegeta is still playing catch up.

I know of at least two moments in which we see Vegeta talk about caring for his family in Super. The first is when he goes to train in the gravity room, being pissed at Black for ruining Future Trunks life and family. The second time is with Jiren talking about what it means to protect something, while showing flashbacks of him with Bulma and kid Trunks. This game isn't the only place where we see this side of Vegeta.

Him always being eager to be better than Goku as an only goal, which caused him great frustration time and time again... Until he saw that not everyone can be the best, and that there's no shame in being behind Goku's level. Because, after all, he's now fighting for someone other than himself and that's honorable enough. He's such a motivational character because of his slow transition from needing to outdo Goku as to find self-validation, to wanting to outdo himself for a noble reason.
