Yeah I think people are just comparing him to Gohan and because Gohan looks better they then think Goku is bad. The community just don’t know how to have fun on this game. If the new unit isn’t a top 5 unit people aren’t happy.

This literally legends fest 2023 gohan yet again overshadowing all of the other units its sad to see godku being seen as mid honestly getting tired of seeing that word

I hear you. It's just sad they showed next to no creavity when designing his kit. Evil Buu and Beerus seem more fleshed out despite being side units. What's worse is that I don't exactly hate SSG Goku, it's just that he is designed awkwardly. He needs a bit to hit his peak, but his peak is only for 10 counts, he has x2 draw speed with no real cost reduction, and he's an endurance unit that can't cancel buffs (Gohan can of course, lol). The best part is his peak isn't even that much greater than the peak of the top tiers we have already. Gohan released beside him and is x2 the unit he is, it's tragic. TLDR; it's cool to finally have another BOG Goku, but damn it felt like they didn't care. They damn sure didn't try to help him.
