I like the style of unique equip because it leaves the possibility of the ultras still getting exclusive equips. I feel like these are just meant to serve as a test run to see how much they can give without it being too much

The way people wanna downplay how good this goku was and how long he lasted is funny to me. Came in a meta ran by FSK gohan and UL Super Gogeta and was the best unit in the game, even after the Android release he was best along them, only until UI 4th anniv that he fell off due to the monstrous amount of overpowered red. His teams were built poolly but he still shined, UI goku didnt shine long after the androids cause Universe rep still was built poorly

Nah lol. This Goku fell off hard after LF Androids which was literally the next month as they were in April and this guy was March. Also wdym his team was poorly built? You ran him on GGY God Ki with green zenkai ssb Vegeta and Vados, both of those characters supported him and the bench was also filled with zenkai buffs.

Meta was ran by mono purple and Usg not fsk he fell off the 2nd usg came out and when the androids came out he definitely fell off and wasn’t close to being top 3 u really think he was close to being the best when a unit that was better than everything in the anniversary was out and was red on top of that?

I don’t get why this guy isn’t automatically better than everything. Other than raw stats bro has a infinite way to have a vanishing gauge at neutral, and all he has to do is charge step. Again I get raw numbers make him bad but he brings so much fluidity to the team it can’t be ignored as old unit syndrome

He has some really useful abilities but his poor dmg inflicted and dmg reduction numbers make it so he can only really function in a support/annoying role with strike card lock and green card supplying

So far from what I’ve seen ultra kaioken is actually usable, not meta but if you run a proper blast based uni rep you can definitely win a lot of matches with him.

6:45 goresh the reason he didn’t use the blue was because of another ability of this goku , every blast card that lands on the opponent it destroys blue cards , which imo in this day and age with so many units with busted blue cards it’s actually a very powerful ability

Goku and Frieza are strike based, so it is better to use EvoKen (blast based) in a blast based universe rep team. EvoKen is also better than Goku and Frieza, they are still good but at this point they are pretty old and they are also off the boost system.
